Remember (those who were around back then) when we talked about GPS voices, and we agreed that we would all fork out whatever necessary in order to get Warlow on our GPS's? Well, it may not be Warlow, but I wish I had a TomTom GPS, because I just found this. We've had this conversation before, but it was so long ago, and there's new minds here, so let's recreate it: Whose voice would you like to have on your GPS?

Absolutely not Anthony's voice! Or I cannot possibly focus on driving, given I'm already a bad driver. XDDDD
Well I don't ask for anything particularly special. Perhaps something that sounds affirmative and funny at the same time. Maybe the voice of Stephen Colbert will do.

Not knowing who Stephan Colbert is ((not knowing who anyone is)), I had to YouTube him, and found this. Now, I think, I'd have to say: Not Stephen Colbert. I'm sorry, but chances are I'd be laughing too hard to pay attention to the road. XDD

Steve Martin! I've found in the last year or so that I've hugely misjudged that man.

Steve Martin! I've found in the last year or so that I've hugely misjudged that man. I doubled over when I first saw him singing Dentist! in the LSoH movie. Hmmm.... I dunno. All the voices I can think of would annoy me after a week. Maps > GPS anyway. xD

Yeah, that was the first hint I'd misjudged him. The second was the episode of The Muppet Show that starred him. Very, very surprising. And awesome.

I think Matt Lucas would be a funny one. I can imagine him making fun of you if you take a wrong turn. XD

... I had to look him up. I'm so uneducated!
But I like the idea of a GPS that can mock. My GPS must get so frustrated with me sometimes, as I wilfully disregard it's directions - and all it can do is keep giving directions in the vain hope that I will listen.
It seems that I've anthropomorphised my GPS. I should probably be worried about that....

Have you seen the 25th anniversary Les Mis concert? He played Thenardier and is really funny.
My GPS frustrates me. Always takes me really random ways.

I haven't seen that one yet, got to get around to it though. After we move, and have new jobs, we've got a list of new DVD's we want. My GPS tried to make me turn up Rundle Mall one day... you know, the pedestrian-only mall? Stupid GPS.

I also want to prepose Alan Rickman. And Tim Curry. And David Bowie.
I ... really like their voices.

When I think of Alan Rickman, I always think of Snape from Harry Potter. If he was my GPS voice I'd be afraid to take a wrong turn.

You're scared of Snape's wrath? But he's so awesome!
