Oh Cynthia - you have made things difficult for me!!!! I was going to try and see Moonshadow and An Officer and a Gentleman before I went to Brissie to see JB. Now you have shown me this for Chess and Bobby Fox is in it and it is on the wrong date. I am going to have to try and change things around and I don't even know if Moonshadow and AOAAG are going to be on in August. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. But I do want to see Bobby Fox in another role as he was so wonderful in JB.

Tickets for Chess will be available mid May for those interested. Joining Martin will be Simon Gleeson, Silvie Paladino and Bobby Fox. It will be playing at the State Theatre. Website is here if you wanna have a look. |

Tickets go on sale on 14th May which is the day we leave Brisbane after seeing Annie so I hope we can get tickets. We're stopping off in Melbourne on the way to Tassie to catch the show on the Friday night. Is anyone else planning on going?

Anyway, I don't know much about Chess. Anyone seen it? I know I've heard one song out of it, considering there's one on an Ant CD somewhere... but I don't really know much about it. I did hear someone say once that it was the most boring musical ever... but they may have been talking about something else - memory isn't always my strong point.

I would love to see this but funds are limited at the moment and I think I would rather see Annie (yet again) on the 5th August.
If tickets are still on sale late, I might pick up one. I actual like the music in Chess, I got the album on vinyl somewhere and have seen it but only in concert version but would love to see Martin again.

I saw CHESS last August and he was really good in the part of the american. I enjoyed very much his performance specially with the song PITY THE CHILD.
