Missing DZ so much, just want to say to a certain MR AW... "My heartfelt thanks to you for sharing your gift with the world. You've blessed hundreds of thousands of people with your amazing talent over the years, and put a lot of smiles (and tears) on faces with your incredible portrayal of so many beloved characters.
And ... if you can somehow find a way ... please bring DZ back to our shores as soon as possible. So many of us are missing those haunting songs that convey such a tragic story so beautifully."
Now, I'll just go back to my corner and listen to them through my iPhone while trying to imagine a black and white chequered floor with so many clever scenery changes, as an amazing cast takes me back to a Russia of old.
NEW COMMENT TO ADD ON 20 APRIL 2012 -
Dear Mr Warlow Thank you for our long chat today. You were so very generous with your time and willingness to read the portions my novel where you are mentioned ... and that means so much to me. This novel truly is my baby, and having your approval would be the icing on the cake. And I really appreciate that you took the time to organise the photo of us both... I wish you every happiness in everything you do and I know your fans will be seeing you grace our theatres for a very long time. Chookas for "Annie" tonight and I leave you with your parting words to me ... God bless you heaps!

Any chance you could fit a US concert in there before heading to NY? So glad the world is about to see you! Best wishes and i hope we can claim you back someday because i'm not sure how to justify trips to broadway to see you - at least not as many as i make to sydney!

Dear Sir,
I know we talked last night, but once again, I wanted to say thank you - for everything. It was such a relief to hear what you told me because - as I said - I have only ever held you in the highest regard. I don't know if you realise how much you have changed my life; if it wasn't for you, this place wouldn't exist, and I wouldn't have met so many wonderful people - your good self included.
I wish you all the best for your 15 months in the land of the free. Not to worry; you will make us all very proud as Australia's Ambassador and I'm certain you will - as I shouted in the theatre - knock'em dead.
So long, have fun, until we meet again! Oh, and to finish off our little sing last night ...
NYC "I'm leaving without you" Wish I could go And see your show Take care In NYC

Dear Mr. Warlow,
I am a HUGE fan! I love all of your work and I listen to you constantly. You are the best singer ever and you have the voice of God. Im going to be performing les miserables soon and you are a big inspiration to me. My favorite song by you is The Phantom of the Opera, the time you sing it at the 1996 Main Event. I blasted it and put it on replay for days. I also loved when you sang at the Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary, when you came out I went crazy. I talk about you constantly and wish I had even a little of the voice you have. I also love when you sang Jekyll and Hyde. I played it for days! With most artists they cant pull everything off that they perform but you can with ease. Also, Lilys eyes from secret garden took my breath away. Purely genius. The emotion in your voice is amazing. You are a true hero.
