Ah, yeah, sorry; I mentioned this a month or so ago when windbelle and vangel were asking about which Warlow DVDs vangel should get at what prices in ... some other threat on the general board that I can't remember the name of right now. Cheaper at Borders: $87.95 Not much I admit but still cheaper

The ABC shop in Adelaide has it on its own, as does Borders. You could also try Middle8Music (.com) or Amazon.

Are these the G&S productions that have Ant in them?

The very same - except for The Mikado, that's the one that they did a looooooong time ago with Peter Cousens and Graeme Ewers.

Thats one gaping OA mistake in my opinion, that they didn't record the Mikado with Ant and David Hobson- then it could have been an Ant G&S Box set!
And I'd recommend a JB Hi-Fi to get Patience- my local ABC shop kept telling me they couldn't order it in as it wasn't available on DVD, and then I strolled in JB and *BAM* Patience sitting in the ABC DVD section XD

Your ABC Shop is run by liars.

It is run by liars and employs a girl who cannot spell 'tenor', 'Puccini', 'Fledermaus' or 'Sutherland', as witnessed by myself, as well as my mother and grandmother- who hired her?!?!

I'll take her job. Man how I need a job.
Hmm. I still haven't finished watching The Mikado. I remember a couple of years' ago they showed a different version on the TV and as the executioner was dancing around for joy at the thought of getting Yum-Yum I thought: Anthony would be perfect for that part.
If only I had known ...

Ah, I have that version of 'The Mikado' after going to see it with my dad early last year. I'll have to keep a look out for the other productions with Ant in. Pity, because I like 'The Mikado' the best out of the G&S shows (well, the ones I've heard anyway).

Ohhhhhhh ... I'm not going to spoil the surprise then
Oh, but there's no recordings of Warlow in The Mikado. None were ever made.

I'll take her job. Man how I need a job. My job. MINE. XD My next 'must buy' DVD is the old school 'Tosca', circa 1980's.... oh, remember the days when ABC telecasts were so dodgy *grin*

I don't have that yet either ...
Nor a job.
I might have to apply for the Woollies night shift *shudder*

We don't have one here either; maybe up in the Berri Mall, a half hour away from here ... then there's Big W in Renmark, that's an hour' away ...

I work out where to put this, and while searching I decided that a G&S thread would be just right... Anyone who can get to Newcastle between 14th - 22nd August might want to check out Patience (or Hot Chocolate). It sounds interesting.

It is, isn't? Alas, the odds of me getting to Newcastle then are practically non-existent. The boss isn't going to be too happy if I keep taking time off to go globe-trotting.
