I was cruising around on Stumbleupon earlier (and as a sidenote: has anyone discovered Stumble? It's what I do on the oh-so-many occasions where I forget what it is that I do on the internet), and I found an interesting site ( here) called Drinkify. I have to admit, I failed my Warlovian instincts, thus failing all of you, by searching Mozart first. Then, just on the off chance, I searched our favourite fellow and there he was! I'm rather hugely impressed that someone chucked him in there... and I don't drink, at all, but now wish I did. Bring on the plum brandy! So I was wondering, firstly, what you all think of the drinkify site; and, secondly, when have you found an unexpected Warlow?

I stumbled across him this morning when I was on Twitter and there was a tweet about previous Jekyll and Hydes and the only picture displayed was of him and someone else who's very tall (which you've already seen on the Jekyll and Hyde threat, Fred!) Was a lovely surprise for a Wednesday morning

I have to confess that mine was in the 25th anniversary Phantom performance. Even though I watched it months after it happened, I'd drifted away from the musical/Warlovian communities and hadn't heard anything about his appearance at the end. So I was just watching, distracted by disturbed thoughts of Colm Wilkinson as Erik, and then saw him. I think I screamed and clutched at my face (partially to stop screaming since it was the middle of the night, mostly because that's what I do when I get really excited). And because I'd just had my wisdom teeth out, it felt like I'd broken my jaw.
But everything was Music of the Night and nothing hurt (for long).

Evealle, my sister was watching that one long after the fact, and I got a frantic phone call from her telling me I had to watch it... I knew he was there, but she didn't! I do love the point where he comes in there. He seems to overpower all the others! (Well, that may just be me listening for him in particular, but I prefer the overpowering option!) And a good find that was too, Jem! It's ever such a nice photo.

Agree with you both Evealle and Fredus. I was at a screening of the 25th anniversary of Phantom at a cinema with a group of others and had no idea he was going to be appearing at the end so nearly jumped out of my seat - but I did restrain myself seeing there were no other Warlovians with me at the time! It was such a lovely surprise and the perfect way to top off a great viewing of that great musical. He certainly was the best of them all, his voice and hands mesmerise me every time. He really is the quintessential performer - and a darn nice fella too! It was a lovely photo and he's obviously very relaxed now he's in NYC from the look on his face and the casual buttoning of his shirt!!!

Heh ... we went to a screening of that during the day, where the small audience was made up of elderly, and I cheered.

Cheering was obviously the correct response.

Um, I think so... not absolutely sure, though. I'm going to try on Thursday and will let you know.
Just thought we should have something to keep those eyes out there for all time!

Well I've just purchased four things from the design I submitted - the iPhone case, the mousepad, the raglan-sleeved 3/4 length top in navy and white and the mug. Hopefully they'll arrive okay. They're being made here in Australia - or at least the company is and they said they'll be here in 3-5 days and it was in Aussie dollars. So excited now!
