So ... there's often rumours and speculation about Warlow. Hardly surprising, our fandom brought us together and so, naturally, we'd discuss anything we've heard or experienced of/from him. Over the years, there's been such talk as to what show people have possibly heard he's going to be in, whispers of new albums, and whatnot. I thought it might be good if we centralised the rumour mill to one thread. That way, we can write and read anything we've heard and, once it's confirmed, a thread of its own can be made all fresh and official-like. We can also discuss the likelihood of whether or not these whispers are true. Bear in mind, though, that we don't want to go NSFW and, if there's something that you've heard but think it's a bit scandalous, PM me about it first so I can assess whether or not it'll be safe to mention. All right, folks, start talking; what's the current whispers? Current Rumours:1: Warlow's Project. Warlow is/has been working on a rather personal project. Confirmed!2: Warlow's next show (2014). Warlow is signing up for the stage version of a well-known, British, 1967 film. Unsure3: A New Life in Oz. One of our favourite shows from this talented man will hit our shores if a certain someone gets involved. Still unlikely, but hopeful

Forgive the double post, but these parts really need to be kept seperate for space issues. 1: Warlow's Project. Some years ago - during the Phantom run in Aus, really - I made mention that Warlow was working on a project in his spare time. I'm considering this as Confirmed as I got the word straight from the horse's mouth, as it were, though as I haven't heard anything about the project since then, and considering Warlow's track history with ... certain things ... I'm not entirely sure as to the fate of this project. I will attempt to verify the condition of the project if I can run into him at Opera in the Alps, but for the moment it's a "confirmed" from last heard news. Depending on how that goes, I can finally say what it is I've been keeping secret for so long. For a hint: It's his own, original work. True or False?: Yes, he's still working on it! In fact, it's nearing its final stages, so hopefully the wait won't go on for too many months more. I forgot to confirm whether or not to make it public but, when it does, I'm going to advertise the heck out of it. 2: Warlow's next show (2014). Depending on whether or not "something better comes along", I've been informed from an inside source that production for a 1967 film is on the cards, and that Warlow's jumping on board as the main man ((could we expect any less?)). And what is this show, you ask? Doctor Dolittle. It's funny, actually, because a bit ago, Fred and I were watching the film and discussing how great Warlow would be for the role, and then this happened! This hasn't been announced publicly yet, but unless they decide to go against their planning, this is one confirmed rumour. So bring out your injured pets, my friends; The Doctor is In. True or False?: Warlow brushed this rumour off during our little chat after Opera in the Alps, but it's not the first time he's denied something that later came to pass, so this is going to be an unconfirmed rumour. 3: A New Life in Oz. A little bird had a chat with someone deeply involved with a particular show about the possibility of one of his shows hitting our shores. I believe the reponse from the insider was: "Yes - so long as you ask Anthony Warlow to sing it ... his is the very best Jekyll there has been." If it's not obvious by now which show he and this little bird was talking about, it's the smash hit Jekyll and Hyde! Word is the insider - of very, very high influence - is more than happy to bring Jekyll and Hyde to Australia and wants our favourite man to sign up - if he's not too tired from his run in Doctor Dolittle, of course Again, hoping to catch up with Warlow for a brief chat to pose the question to him in a few weeks, if possible. True or False?: We all know Warlow's feelings with the Broadway version. You should all know MY feelings of the Broadway version. For those that don't, the hint is: We're of the same mind with this one. Warlow once again declared he wouldn't do Jekyll and Hyde but, and I'm rather kicking myself for not mentioning this in our chat, our insider of high influence would still like to see him in the role. I'm very much considering drafting up a proposal to both Warlow and our man at the top about this issue and see what kind of response it will bring. For the moment, it's officially a no, but you never know what could happen.

ISN'T IT GREAT?! *tries to curb enthusiasm. Is unsuccessful.* I'm so glad you could make it back to US, too; it's been so long But on topic, Fred and I are already on a no-spending whatsoever run to help our injured funds ((Christmas is fun, but boy, does it hurt!)), so hopefully we'll have something when these shows / this show comes about. ((And, obviously, I'm going to be rather insanely jealous if Warlow does don the lab coat, as some lucky woman will get to sing It's a Dangerous Game with him ON STAGE. It's the dream role that my voice just can't cut)).
