Mmm I really have to re-read this book don't I ... it will be particularly interesting now that I won't be able to resist substituting at least one actor into the reading

Oh yes, in fact it's BETTER if you can cast the roles in your mind. I always see Maggie Smith as Granny Weatherwax, Julie Walters as Nanny Ogg, Richard Armitage as Count Magpyr Jr., Anthony as Count Magpyr Snr.... not quite finished casting yet!

Hehe that reminds me of the time I re-read the Lord of the Rings after I'd seen the movies - it was so much more interesting with Viggo Mortensen voicing the dialogue ... Edit: Just re-read Pratchett's Maskerade, read no further if you haven't read it and are planning to do so in future, because this will spoil the ending: I think Anthony would be a good fit for Walter Plinge/Opera Ghost - Ant's Frank Spencer/Jerry Lewis persona could pass for Walter?

I also wouldn't mind making the adaption of Maskerade and casting Ant as Enrico (with a LOT of padding!). Do you mean the Terry Pratchett 'Maskerade'? I'd like to see him as Greebo.... (In human form, obviously XD)
