poppy - hope you're okay after the earthquake. I heard Moe really got a caning. My daughter lives in Mernda and said it lasted about 30 seconds but no damage thank goodness.

You're welcome Poppy  I remember going through a few when I lived in Wellington many years ago - and suitcases tumbling off the wardrobe in the middle of the night! And re the no posts status - no words needed, I guess. He figures just those incredible eyes staring back at you will keep you gobsmacked!! Sure did when he looked into mine |

@ Jema: Yeah, he keeps telling me he gets lost on US, so when we've *finally* got someplace to live and our own access to the net I'll be able to finish the Ant-Friendly Guide to US I've been working on ... I won't call it that (probably) but it'll be available in case he wants to cruise around a bit more around here.
Hmm. I didn't realise the other performer's area concerned him, but I can understand why. As others have said, I always thought we were saying the best about the people we put up in that area. If I ever get the chance to talk to him again, I might bring that up. Maybe I could alter that area a bit, but it might mean wiping out a fair bit of info already put up there ... Anyway, I'll think things over.
As for some of the ... things that have been said, when I've got the net again, I'm going to trawl through and edit / possibly delete some things. I've said things that I'm not proud of in the past, and I know some things have gotten out of control at times, so I'm going to go over this place with a fine tooth comb and hopefully make this place cleaner than it is now. You know, just in case.

Hi Mar - Thanks for your post - I was feeling quite awful for "having rained on everyone's parade" but because of one of your other posts I thought it was the opportunity to say what he'd said - only because I respect him and I know everyone else on here does too so thought it was probably good for everyone to know how he feels. Good on you for what you have planned I assured him everything said on the other performers' pages that I had seen were very affirming (not that I've looked at them all) - but I could undertand his concern. It was all more of a heads up for all of us, I suppose. And again, thanks so much. I was chuffed to know he had been on - and not just once from the way he was talking ... hopefully he will come back and see how much we admire him Good to see you on here and your posts when you're able. |

It is a shame how Anthony feels about the site but I can understand. I think we all need to be a little careful with what we say. Not just for him, but also as respect for other performers and also each other.
Also a reminder that if anyone has any issues about the site please let one of the mods know so we can look into it. We want this to be a safe and friendly environment for all.
Inj, if you want to PM me about that post that you didn't like I will track it down and get rid of it. Maybe just forward the message on to me?

Thank you Rachel, that is nice to know! Everyone here at Unexpected Song has the highest respect for Anthony and would hate for him to be offended at anything written. A few years ago there were some things posted that shouldn't have been and we (the moderators) are looking at going through the site to delete these old posts. We really want this to be a safe and friendly environment where everyone feels comfortable in supporting Anthony. In terms of other artists, I think that everything said is pretty positive however we will have a look through the threads to be 100% sure.
If you continue to visit the site please let either Marie-Cris or myself know of anything that Anthony would not be comfortable with and it will be removed. Thanks again!
