I just heard about that yesterday! So incredibly excited... I really need to get a job so we can afford to go. I love Fiddler, so seeing it at all would be amazing, but with Warlow... *sigh* Edit: I don't know what article I read yesterday, but yours was far more comprehensive, Windbelle! It's fantastic to know that he has no real plans of staying in the US on a permanent basis... it's hard to get to shows here, it would be impossible over there! Edit the Second: Here's another one with an interesting snippet or two.

So excited to announce that we'll be attending on the 2nd of February! I adore Fiddler and having Warlow as Tevye has been been one of my life-time dreams come true! SO EXCITED!I don't know if we'll make it to the LMS in time (considering it's now on Valentine's day and funding will be tight after going on the 2nd), but fingers crossed we can make it to the LSS (whenever that one decides to be). I know a bunch of you are going on the original LMS date of the 24th of Jan and I hope it's as every bit as exciting as I imagine it to be! I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the show.

Yep! 2nd of Feb! Already got the tickets and the hotel booked; it's that same one we stayed in for Phantom. I know it wasn't flashy, but it's behind the theatre, so no long-distance walking at night.
You should really take a moment to go see it when you do go. I don't actually know if you've seen the film, but even if you haven't, you should enjoy the show.

The hotel was ok... but the water from the showers there made my eyes so sore and red it looked like I had bad ad conjunctivitis. The hotel is great cos it's close. I dont care what mostt people think about little Bourke street, I like that area and I didnt feel unsafe walking around after dark. But I love love love Melbourne so I probably overlook potential drawbacks. Sounds liiikkke fuuuunnn! Yay fab times girls. And you two have it all planned out already?

Did it? Crap, I don't even remember that!
Sort of. We're spending more days there than what we would usually do, so a lot of it will just be hanging out around Melbourne, doing ... whatever. Little Bourke Street is great, there's a really good restaurant around there that we try to get to when we can called Ant's Bistro which isn't too far from the Princess Theatre so, depending on their opening times, we'll most likely have dinner there on our first night there or on the second, just before the show. Plus it's just around the corner from the Spring Street Grocer, which has some really good cheeses underground and sell one of my favourite teas.

talk about a long time between posts hope everyone has been well... went to see this with the wife saturday night - sitting about 6 rows from the front, dead centre. went into the show having never seen it, not having a huge grasp about what it was about, and even though warlow was in it, didn't have any huge expectations of the show i thought it was absolutely awesome and a great cast all round. warlow was great, but so was sigrid as well, and the daughters can definitely sing! bonus - at a bar afterwards in walked warlow and cop in the show (don't know his name) for a drink - pretty nice just to see him i didn't go over or anything but glanced a few times

David! Welcome back! And don't worry, it's been a long time between posts for everyone XD I'm so glad you enjoyed it, particularly not knowing Fiddler going in (did I read that right?). Are you thinking of going again? And still itching for February to come around, windbelle!
