I actually had an Ant dream last night. Difficult to explain, but we were indoors at these basketball courts that were partial swimming pools. I distinctly remember Ant being bare-footed, up to his ankles in water, while these young kids were splashing around, tossing basketballs (amongst other round objects) to each other. Somehow Ant, some kids and I got involved in a game of ball toss (like the one they play in Sound of Music, except no one got injured.) Eventually, Ant complained that he was bored (*giggletantrum*) so I started swimming/running circles around him, trying to keep him entertained.
Just as I managed to elicit a laugh, a kid chucked a superball (those tiny bouncy things) at Ant's head. It started raining, only these random items were falling out of the sky too. A rockmelon landed in Ant's hands.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. XD

Although given the context, I fail to see how an apple a day is going to keep away that doctor...

Ooooh, yes please! *goes to find hammer to break foot* Actually, i've dreamt up some pretty terrifying people as my doctors in the past... and some of my doctors as some pretty terrifying people.... but that's a story for another day children. I recall now that years ago, following a dream about Hanson visiting my primary school *don't!* i did momentarily dream that Mum and Dad went to the Main Event, coz they really wanted to at the time. hey met the cast, but Ant as still a non-entity at that stage for me, and i remember my dream-self was bored with their stories... for shame....

For shame, neh, for shame. Forget the good doctor, we may have to sic Hyde on you for your past transgressions! *whip* (j/k)
I remember Ant did nothing for me when I was a kid. Bad me! Goes to show no one's beyond Warlovian redemption. XD

At least you knew of him as a kid; I didn't find out until I was 12, and then again at 17.

^ Regarding the "having" of Warlow. Or, if we're going back a few years, "knowing" could be just as bad.
...I'm mildly disturbed that I got that. XD

I was bought up on Ant, from his CDs, programs from shows, family discussions/arguments...., and have gone in and out of Warlovianism until I crossed the Point of no Return and joined up here XD

It's definitely been more that 2 days since my last post here, so I'll just do a new one...
I've mentioned this dream a few times, but never actually put it up here. I had a kind of return of it last night, so I'll put them both here.
The first dream was the night of the 14th of September- I woke up on my birthday with a smile on my dial! So...
My nan and I were at the Princess buying tickets for Phantom, and while waiting for some people to finish up at the box office we saw a group of people just outside Frederici's, and decided to see what was going on. Turned out they were a group of "VIPs" who were having an exclusive backstage tour. Nan and I hung around and went with them, winding up in the wings while the ballet chorus were rehearsing Hannibal, but in their white romantic tutus. We were all standing there as they finished up, and I got into conversation with the girls.
While I was with them the tour group, including my nan, had wandered off a bit, and a manager guy came running up to the group, telling the girls that the girl playing Meg Giry had been injured and did they know of anyone who could dance the role? The girls all told him I had dance training, he asked me what sort and I replied "I wouldn't exactly call it dance training monseur" but he wouldn't hear of it and insisted I dance the role of Meg that night.
Suddenly it was showtime and I was sidestage in a tutu, warmed up and about to dance on stage. Making my entrance, I managed to copy the entire dance by watching a girl named Claire in front of me, and got through a weird dance. I didn't have any lines or singing, and made it through my part. The curtain calls were incredible, and I was given roses from the girls.
Sitting in a little dressing room after the show a message was sent from Anthony, asking if I could come to his dressing room, which I did. He thanked me for stepping in at the last moment, told me I danced beautifully and then gave me his mask- "as a momento"....
Then I woke up!
And then the "return" last night-
I was at work, at a register, when my supervisor came running up to me and handed me her phone. It was mum, telling me there was a message on the phone from Brisbane, and I needed to get home.
I thought something had happened to my uncle (who lives in Brissie) so I got home really worried, but it was a message from a guy named Mark from QPAC who asked if I could get there ASAP. Mum and I hotfooted it to the airport and got on the next plane.
Next thing I was in the foyer of QPAC, shaking hands with this Mark guy, and Ant was there- flu had taken out half the chorus, and I was needed to do three shows. I agreed to and was taken backstage to get ready.
I got on stage, this time in a line behind Nadia Komazec, and had to do all these complicated turns, which I somehow managed. But then I got off stage, and was pushed by some stagehand to a dresser who put me in Christine's costume for the lair scene and walked me to the boat. I tried to tell her I wasn't Christine, that I couldn't play Christine, but she wouldn't hear of it and pushed me into the boat. Before I had a chance to get up Ant was standing behind me punting, and we were on stage. I turned around and looked at him, panicked because I knew I couldn't sing, and I'd make him look like a fool. He smiled at me and whispered to mime, so I did, hearing Julie's voice fill the stage around me.
And I woke up, rather confused XD

Oh ... *thud*
damn.
I had a dream the other night that didn't involve him but he was mentioned - or rather, referenced. I was talking to Richard O'Brien, I said I had met Ant, and it somehow got to this:
Ritz: Did you get your kiss? MC: I'm sorry? Ritz: Did you get your kiss? MC: *touches cheek* I got one on the cheek Ritz: You'll get more than that one when I'm finished.
The dream went on, yes, but that was the only bit ... but damn, Bec! The boat!!
OH!! I remember a dream I keep forgetting to post; one I had last year'. I was going to do my big write up on it but I can't remember where I stored the file.
I was on the unfinished floor of a skyscraper building surrounded by other people, all of us trying to escape the rising flood waters ((amongst other things)). We were basically all on one half of the room, trying not to fall beyond the windowless pane, as the other half of the room was stacked to the ceiling with boxes; this wall I was leaning against as I sat on the floor, and everyone else had formed a somewhat semi-circle around me.
A man stepped to the centre and started to make a speech about the recent loss of life and other tragedies, then he started to talk make an introduction for somebody, and from behind the first row of people in stepped Ant wielding a microphone. We made eye contact for a moment but I had to look away, I was so ashamed ((I forget why, but it was a good reason; something about it being my birthday on a day of so much death, or something)), and so I just stared at the floor as more talk went on, Ant started his own speech, and the next thing I know his shoes step into my line of vision ((they were brown; a bit darker than his brown suit)).
I was dream-crying when I looked up at his outstretched hand. He lifted me to my feet, took me in his arms ((and because I had no idea of how tall he was in actuality when I had this dream, he was just a bit taller than me)), and as we swayed in a slow dance he "serenaded" me with This Is the Moment.

Serenaded? Damn.... Loved the "You'll get more than that when I'm finished!" XD It's a shame the whole boat thing was wasted with my dream-self panicking that I was going to totally screw up and ruin Phantom...

He kept his word ... and I swear I could feel each one ((need to find a less emo blushing smilie)); it was rather strange, because in a dream a night or so before that one I had tried to kiss his cheek "in return" ((this was after Spicks and Specks, so my mind was mixing Ant and Ritz together)) and he wouldn't let me. But at least you got to perform with him!! I'd kill for that ((even in a dream world))!!
