Man, I feel sorry for those girls. It's one thing to hang around for hours and be denied, another to be so damn close and miss by mere seconds.
phantasy, did you get the number plate? XD

Careful girls!!!! That's almost crossing the line from reverent worshipper to crazed stalker! We wouldn't want to expose him to the loony fringe now would we. A spot of decorum, please!!! *hyper* Just decided to go to the night session of the Aus Open on Sunday night after the final Phantom show, unless I crack an invite to the after-show party!!! LOL. Been such a s t week and done so much overtime, again, that it's well within the budget, so, bugger it, why not. Got onto Ticketek and got Rod Laver Arena ticket no problems. You only live once (unless you are James Bond, or a cat, that is)!!! This is going to be a good summer!!! The best ever I think! *dance*

Okay, meeting Ant is the first happy news.
The second is ... actually it's rather a bundle, and you'll find out when I post my review / letters.
But ...
I MET ANTHONY WARLOW! OH MY ... ... ... umm ... ... ... ... ... OH MY!

I say call the theatre at interval, get them to announce his car's being towed and see if he races out in his Red Death costume.... what a sight to see! And Sanderella, if you only follow him to his residence just once its not stalking- if we return however..... EDIT: My 300th POST! YAY! *dance* *dance* *dance* *dance*

Can you imagine the theatre? Masquerade would be running its course, they'd get to the Phantom's fanfare and... no Red Death. Cast: "WTF?"

Or they delay the start of Act II due to "Anthony Warlow is currently having car problems" and confuse everyone- "wait, wasn't he in Act I?" "What do they mean car problems?" *evil laugh*

Just got an email from Sanity. They have jsut shipped my De-Lovely OST with Cole Porter songs from John Barrowman, Alanis Morisette, Natalie Cole etc. Movie was on TV the other night. I missed it on release and it was fantastic. Kevin Kline was really good and the music is sublime!! Especially "In the Still of the Night"

And i thought thats was raz's diabolical plan? It was a joint venture, that ended with a sugar high at Pat doing impersonations of Arnie leaving voicemail on Ant's phone, involving his car getting towed and then cruched into a cube XD And I just found out today that my aunt sung with David Hobson in a concert back when the Arts Centre in Melbourne was new- she danced, he sung, and everyone sang together for the finale, so- in her head- she sang with Hobson. She remembers meeting him too, because he used to visit the Wendouree pool when my grandparents owned it, and he knew her as "the girl who runs away from the lifeguard" aka my grandfather- he also knew my mum- he was a year below her in school and everyone knew her due to the pool....small world eh?

If only i could inhabit said small world! Hehe, i had to laugh - the other day i was saying to Nan how i MUST get to Sydney for a 2nd Phantom viewing, for the rest of you put me to shame, and how if and when i do so i MUST attempt to track him down, for i am put to shame in that depratment also. I then went on to say how if Spring Awakening ends up coming to Aus this year, i would like to gather enough courage to audition. Now, the dear lady somehow deduced from all this the following, and conveyed to my rather amused mother later on: I am planning to get work as Anthony Warlow's assitant later this year. And i say to you - HUHWHAT?! On the strictly good news front, i have the net back, so that's a plus for sure. And i finally saw Enchanted this evening and it was tootin' adorable. Amy Adams was the perfect princess, bless her!

Oh goody. Think I might catch it then. I'm a sucker for a romantic fairy story.
Picked up "The Age" newspaper today at work at lunchtime and discovered youngest son has received a first round offer for Melbourne Uni. Much excitement. Has been accepted into Media & Communications degree. Thinks he will defer this year and work fulltime so he can qualify for Youth Allowance/Austudy next year. He hasn't worked for long enough or earned enough to qualify this year. If he goes next year he can go into a share house with some mates who will still be in colleges this year. Unfortunately $20,000 college fees a little beyond my means for him to go this year, and his father has refused a cent (hasn't contributed anything financially to either son once they turned 18 - but am I bitter or angry? You bet I am!!! Tighta**e!!!!) Still, I'm really proud of son because he has worked so hard for this.

Aaaarrrghhhh!!
I've just been informed that, through some connections my father has, I can attend the after-show party tomorrow. I can brush shoulders with greatness! I'm on the verge of crying from happiness. What do I do? What do I say? What do I wear? God, I feel awful that I'm gatecrashing their party but how can I pass up this opportunity?
Oh God, help me help me help me help me help me...
