I saw this production with Ant and Caroline O'Connor when i was 16, with school (the art students - music, drama and visual arts/design - got to go see shows! hurray!) and while at the time i found it pretty dull and rather too serious for my tatse (this was my pre-Antfan days, when i preferred my musical comedys), i remember thinking three things 1. Ant really has a great and powerful voice there 2. Caroline's a dam good dancer 3. i should be cherishing this coz a man whose noted as being one of the greatest performers this country has ever seen.

(*Ant being Jerry Lewis*) Well that was the Main Event and i was very funny and John was very cowboyish and Olivia was beautiful!

I wish I'd seen Man of La Mancha- I was deemed "too young" and left at home- very much against my will! My nan bought me a program to make up for it, and it has such a great bio- it's more like a detailed interview (OA could learn from it!)

Apparently it was an amazing show, with Ant showing off his "transformation skills" honed from working on j&h.
