" 'When the cat's away the mice will play' so goes the ancient rhyme ... "
For those who don't know where that quote came from, you MUST meet Eisenstein. XD
I said all the welcomes before I left, but let's make it official here; welcome, everyone!

Or "Einstein" as that silly reporter in the article about Jekyll and Hyde said. Did Eisenstein have a theory of relativity?

lol not that I know of, but Eisenstein did have some clever ideas ... even if they didn't work to his advantage. XD

Hello! I am Susa, from Spain... yeaaah I know sooo far from Australia but Anthony Warlow's art gets everywhere! I love theatre, specially musicals, and I got to know about the great Mr Warlow through a friend who told me about his amazing performance in Jekyll and Hyde. I was shoched when I heard his voice and I wanted to know more about him, which is difficult living on the other side of the world! But at last I have found a palce where I can have lots of information about him *dance* I am exploring your forum and I think it's quite interesting. When I finish this introduction I will sign the letter for the Phantom of the Opera cd or dvd. I hope you are luckier than us here, in Spain. When Phantom was here we couldn't get neither the cd nor the dvd but... ejem... everything is possible to get ;D Thanks a lot! Love Susa *rudolph*

Hi Susa, welcome to our fanboard!! Hope you enjoy yourself here. :-)
A great proportion of members here suffer from the same fact with you, that we live on different continents from Australia. Yet thanks to the internet and the Unexpected Song we could share our fandom love here, which at least make up a little bit for the miserable fact.

Hi, im lauren. and im not quite sure what to say! I live in australia, have seen phantom twice now, but havent yet met anthony, 1st time i didnt get the chance, 2nd time anthony did perfrom! i did meet his understudy and ana marina, and got a photo with both which was awsome. but im going again in jan, coz i will met him! that and im determined my sister will see him perfom (shes missed him twice now!) I found this site via the add for the pettition on myspace, and have already signed it. I also saw pirates of penzance, and love jekyll and hyde. I'm a big fan of musicals and since so many good shows have been on in melbourne theres multiple holes in my wallet but its been totally worth it! Anyways, im looking foward to talking to you guys!

Welcome to Unexpected Song, Lauren! Yay, my stalker comments are working!
...
*cough*
You're lucky to go see it three times; Warlow twice, hopefully ((I'm going in Jan too! What day will you go?)).
Lauren is a pretty popular name; one of my friend from high school was called Lauren ...
...
I wonder if people will think we're bribing them with Warlow cake.
I wonder how people would react if said cake was posted on his MySpace comments.
I wonder if I should just shut up and finish my tea. XD

Neh must have the world's biggest cake with Ant's face on it . So many people have had a piece. Unless of course she bakes a new one each week on the chance that visitors might drop in like my Nanna used to do!!! *hyper*

God. I'm going on the 8th too! I'm taking my mother and my sister, we'll be down in the stalls ((it's marked on the forum calendar)). There definitely will be hell to pay if he isn't there, especially since my mother hasn't seen him perform ever ... Plus I'm actually curious to see what my sister has to say about it all ...

I'm going to try to; I didn't get to last time and I was on no grounds to impose, but as it's my expedition this time I'll drag mum and L.A. with me to any one of the doors ... providing my inept sense of direction cooperates.

Sheesh! Cinta and i lurked outside for a good hour and a half and fortunately no scary thug told us to leave.... though really we should have gotten the picture when the lights were switched off! We just didn't want to give up hope... to their credit, two other kids stayed waiting, even after we trudged off, out shoulders slumped.... we went down the side street eariler in the evening - we also thought that's where the stage door would be! hehe

Lauren, lol what a coincidence same name and spelt the same way. (there is a number of ways u can spell the name and its funny cas people ive even known for years still spell my name wrong.) yeahh the same thing happened to a friend and I, we waited for ages and we saw numerous unrecognizable people go in and out and then finally this guy comes out and says "r u waiting for someone? Everyones gone." i was totally shattered cas i was dumb enough to think ther wasnt another stage door other then the front one. but i still atleast met John Bowles (Raoul) and got him signature.

hmm well when simon pryce performs he comes out in under an hour, i have no idea how he gets the make-up off so fast! I'm starting to think the other door may be the one warlow uses, next time i go i think i might split up with my friend and have one of us at each door, although standing alone in alley at night sounds kinda scary! lol and i think it takes an average of about 2 hours to get the makeup of (when its not simon pryce)
