My mother always told me, when you go out make sure you have clean underwear and spare binoculars in case you get hit by a bus (OK, so I may have stretched the truth a little on the spare binoculars bit! XD)

I just had a mental image of Sandra walking up to people outside QPAC in a giant coat, whispering "Want to buy some binoculars?" and opening the coat to reveal a large assortment XD

Anyway, I know the comics have been a bit scattered about the forum, so to see them in full in the one place, look here. I will of course continue to post comics in the Your Artwork thread in the VIP first ((if I make any more ...)).

It was a wonderful day for a photo shoot, wasn't it?
And it's something I'm tempted to try. It would have been good if I had Corcoran's boat cloak when I went to Melbourne ...

Running around Melbourne in a cape is the best way to get randoms talking to you- often not a good thing XD

My friend was on the train and some hobo started explaining how he'd been abducted by aliens and experimented on. He was convinced they'd put a radio inside him, hence why he could hear music coming out of his stomach.
Moral of the story? You don't need a cape to attract the crazies! XD

Sadly, that's true. I tend to get a lot of the religious fanatics in any given year'.

^ I remember that massive family who decided to ask you how to buy a metcard XD
(And I have to say you're skilled now!)
People rarely ask me- apparently I look "unapproachable and unfriendly".

In searching for other communities and people in LJ who listed Anthony Warlow in their interests list, I came across Not My Phantom, started scrolling back to find any news of Anthony ((not yet)), and stumbled across this White and Nerdy / I really don't like Gerik parody. Sadly no Warlow reference but it is quite a gem. That and ... *cringe* this... and this *double cringe* Oh, one comment so far on Ant, but just a brief mention ... apparently someone listened to the movie soundtrack and had to flush her ears with Ant and John Owen Jones. Commenters only noted on JOJ.

The parody was quite amusing.
I, personally, would have cried my eyes out if Gerard Butler had sung this song after releasing Christine and Raoul from his domain in the end of the movie I would have too, but not for the same reason as you... (My ears... they're bleeding... please save me... get me some Anthony, stat!)
One has to wonder about reviewers like this. Do they really let these people out in public?

Some people just dont deserve to ever see the light of day.
Anyway, backtracking to the LSS, I need ideas of ways to convince my parents that Im not going to be robbed, raped and murdered by the happy people of US if they let me go. Any ideas?

You could tell them that I will volunteer to be the responsible adult. I am a couple of years short of my half-century, the mother of two 20-something sons and hold an incredibly responsible job where I manage the Anaesthetic Department, Recovery Room and Day Surgery for a Catholic hospital that has 9 operating theatres over two sites. I am also a member of a prestigious church choir and kind to animals and old people. Oh, and I've met Anthony Warlow!! (Will that do?)

^ You also corrupted me. XD Yep, still using that excuse. Some people just dont deserve to ever see the light of day. Anyway, backtracking to the LSS, I need ideas of ways to convince my parents that Im not going to be robbed, raped and murdered by the happy people of US if they let me go. Any ideas? Um, well, I've met Sandy and Bonnie and lived to tell the tale. Mar's met Lauren and Bec. I unwittingly sat two seat away from David at a show and he didn't try to murder me. A lot of us have kind of connected, in one way or another, so we can vouch for one another's sanity. When it boils down to it though, you're an adult and can do as you please. There's really no way of reassuring them, I suppose... but if worse comes to worse, you can pull that ace on them. Unless you need their money. In which case, you're screwed. XD

And for added "safeness", my mother will be with us.

Unless you need their money. In which case, you're screwed. If i pick up some more shifts over the holidays I should be fine. Ive just got to hope that mum doesn't find out that Im going to be transferring $150 into the account of a person I met on the internet

I wasn't planning to break it to her at all. I love internet banking *thumbsup*

We don't have Internet banking. In fact the only reason I have a card to use at ATMs is because the bank got sick of me coming in with the paper card THEY GAVE ME WHEN THEY TOOK AWAY MY BANK BOOK, so they gave me an ATM card for free.

^ You terrorised the bank staff about Anthony, didn't you? XD
I'm not sure how to transfer this money either. Could I make an existing account joint-internet-usable (doesn't make sense but you know what I mean)?
Oh, for added safeness my mum and possibly little brother will be along for the journey too. Mother's interested in a family outing to Sydney, though they won't be at the actual show. That'd just be... awkward...

yeah, my brothers coming for the road trip to Sydney, and Ill probably be staying with family there, which makes the actual going to Sydney part easier for my parents to bear.

Lucky. You're all going to see first-hand how embarrassing my mother can be.
I'm going to use a money order. Basically because I only ever deal in cash, but when I buy from e-Bay I use money order ((if that's not an option I really am officially screwed))
