Two in Rundle Mall today:
Aleesha Ruddell Caroline Phillips
1283!
Aleesha came up to me whils I was sitting on a bench reading The Fifth Elephant ((I started it years' ago but never going around to finishing it)) and she asked if I wanted to conduct in a mortgage survery. I said yes, if she'd be interested at looking at my forms. She was really nice and explained what I didn't understand; really easy to talk to. As she was signing the petition Caroline, who was also doing the mortgage surverys, came up and asked if I wanted her to sign too - followed by "What is it?" When she learned it was for Phantom she started gasping in a mixture of shock and overwhelming joy.
Might be seeing them at the last show, if they take up my advice and decide to go.
THE NEXT DAY EDIT: I received an e-mail in the US account from someone whose name had appeared in the petition without permission. Not only his, but family and friends as well. As a result, I have removed all those that were requested to be removed and we have a few slots available. The tally is back to 2178.

Thanks Poppy! That filled 1569 and 1570; just three more placements and we'll be back to where we were.

Marie-Cris, did you realise, when you added the names of the two women in Rundle Mall, you typed a number inside out? I was looking at the last two digits of the first number and the revised number, so it looked like we dropped a massive amount. It was a bit relieving to read your last post and realise we only dropped five.
Sorry... I keep having urges to write these pointless little stories...

You wrote '1283' and later you said the number 2178. I was looking at the hundreds, not the thousands, so I thought we'd dropped almost a hundred signatures. Make sense? Or am I just rambling again?

Got talking to a kid in English today, she wondered what the white mask thingy in my coat of arms was, so I managed to talk her round into signing.

I plan on actually PHYSICALLY taking in my LSS petition folder to TAFE tomorrow - just makes it look more official and me marginally less moronic - and hitting people up like a gangsta!

That's very brave of you. I've had vague notions of taking it around down town, but I keep wussing out.

^ So did I.
Hence why I was at the old caravan park instead.
But if I seriously tried that on McCoy street with video camera in tow I think I'd get thrown out of a few places before I'm given the chance to ask the question.

I was honestly suprised at how many people were obliging and welcoming at LSS, to be honest; i truly expected at least one group/individual to be uncomfortable, annoyed or to just flat out ignore me.... Ant must have lightened their hearts!

I went sig hunting today - which, by the way, was absolutely terrifying. I am very bad at talking to people. However, only one woman flatly refused so, here:
Jaime Cowley Monica Cowley J. Bek Jill Matthews Michelle Delefergin Liz Osborn Marty Hibbert Simone Unicomb Bill Saunders Julie McClen Chris George Rochelle Jones Bobby O'Brien Jenni Jory Robin Urquhart Pamela Brown Kristi Dixon Alysha Ballantyne Judy Colligan Maureen Stokes Sharon Duguid Elf O'Brien Leonie Marshall
There's a possibility that I've got a couple of those names wrong. They aren't all particularly legible.

That's fantastic Fredus! And I know what you mean, some people just refuse to
PRINT
their names.
Say what ... "Elf"? Short for "Elfie" or something?

Well, it's either Elf or the weird loopy thing that looks like an L is actually a V, and her name's Eve. But Elf's a cool name and it looks more like that, so I went with it.
