^ and you know why they broke up? = because Henry was all hands! Paul Paddick who plays Mario the costume designer, also played Captain Feathersword for ages.

I've only ever seen Paul Paddick as Capt' Feathersword, now that the kids are a bit older and don't watch The Wiggles anymore!

For those who haven't yet heard, Simon has left the cast of Phantom. Personally, I have to say I'm incredibly disappointed that he's left, because he was one of the cast that I was on rather good terms with, as well as a great performer- no more lionman or the bass we can always hear! A lovely guy, we all wish him luck in his future roles!

*cries* he was my first Phantom! I can't believe he's gone. So who's up for stalking whatever production he's in next?

^ I am there! I just can't believe that after the lovely goodbye I got from him in Melbourne, the glomp he willingly accepted in Sydney and now he's gone

It's very sad that he has left. I only got to see him for the first time in Auckland and he was great, especially with the big technical disaster of a show where he had to walk on water and got stuck in the angel for 10 mins! A true professional. Also, you should probably all know that at the last Auckland show Simon said to us "Thank you guys for all your support". Obviously meaning everyone at US. Didn't think anything of it at the time... I hope that he has success in whatever he does next. We'll miss you Simon! Bec, are you going to hunt him down to get your bag?

My mum got sad when I told her Simon left! I was impressed.
And damn straight I'm going to get my bag!

Simon, all the best for wherever the wonderful world of theatre leads you next! You'll be missed. All I can really say is I'm so glad I got to see him in Auckland. Before then I seemed to be the only weirdo who'd seen Anthony, Roy and Alex but not Simon.

I'm glad I got to see him too - if but the once. Unfortunately not enough times to be comfortable with a flying tackle hug; but it was very sweet that he got down near on his knees to reach my height for the photos.
We'll miss you Simon!
((I wonder if this guarantees more Paramithi; Goddess knows I've been missing it))

^ I loved the flying tackle hug- and couldn't believe he accepted it. I'm really going to miss Simon- he was like my Roy, if that makes any sense

To those who have met him it should.
I once again confess that I'm jealous at how close you lot are to the cast.

"Close" is the wrong word. We just get more opportunity to bug them.

"Stalker" is also a common term. Bugging them is so much fun though! Hence why- Simon, should you read this, I will see whatever role you next play!

Well thats annoying, I wanted to see him in Adelaide if at all possible, along with Roy and Julie, all of them in the leads. Because I've never seen any combination other then Anthony and Ana.
And no, that was NOT a complaint, but I really wanted to see their takes on the role.
Oh well. Hope he has all the success in the world with whatever he moves on with!

You've only seen Ant and Ana? Not even Jules?......wow.

I know. I've seen the current cast 3 times. Twice in Sydney, once in Auckland. And yes, I know thats pathetic next to the people here. Each time, Ant and Ana. Now they are awesome of course, but I really wanted to get to Adelaide a few days early and catch 3 or so shows before the last show to experience Roy, Simon and Jules in the main roles to contrast and compare -not to judge- their takes on the characters. Well we can count Simon out now...

Nah, not pathetic, rogue -- the first three times I saw it, I got Anthony and Ana too. As long as you're passionate about the show, you're just as worthy as anyone else here. You should book a Wednesday matinee for an almost-guaranteed Roy/Julie performance.

I don't think the tickets in Adelaide are available for the last week yet, are they? Or are you thinking about Perth...

Adelaide's full season for individual tickets aren't out yet. Here's what Ticketek have on their site:
