I'd second the time machine, for multiple reasons. ( And yes, they are all clean.) Shapeshifting would also be cool.

i'd love to be able to go back in time, but i'd want it to be so that my actions couldnt affect the future/present in anyway, no saving JFK for example XD shapeshifting would be interesting, and alot of fun! remember animorphs?

In her profile at deviantart she's filled out this quiz thing: "If You Had a Genie, What Would Your Three Wishes Be: 1)Meet Gerard Butler 2)Have Gerard Butler luv me 3)Stay wither Gerry for ever and ever  yes I'm a warped girl." I found this the other day and it seems like as good a time as any to use it!!

So snatching.
The Gerik fan-girling example is the same with a lot of profiles I've looked at on any site, but with the exception that it's usually for someone in HSM. Or Hannah Montanna.
And besides, casting magic to make someone fall in love with you is Black Magic. Casting magic on anyone for whatever reason is Black Magic, actually.

I know i might be in the minority here, but i dislike neither Emmy or Gerry OR 04 POTO, but i have fortunately - finally! - gained a reasonable, sane perspective on the whole thing. Thank God! Coz while i many never have been an insane Gerik fangirl (and i wasn't 14... which is even more pathetic) i walked along the edge of the madness for a while there. But finally all those readings of Phantom in 15 Mins paid off! ("he has a hideous third-degree SUNBURN!") As for converting these Gerik girls... i think if they're still going strong 4 years after the film's release, then there's probably not much hope for them in terms of giving it up 100%, cold turkey. Perhaps as the years pass they will, like me, find themselves appreciating the musical/novel/canon on wider terms. The morality (or lack thereof) of Erik/Gerik (whoever's!) actions will always be debatable... if that was what you guys were referring to! Sorry, i'm always so out of it!

Hehe, yes - you have a point there. And yes, Emmy's age should be of *some* (not all, but some - i mean, it can't really be disregarded) consideration when people critique her performance. For instance, yes she hit *that* crackly note in TOM, but i've heard many a skilled singer stumble on that one... is just that word and the vowels or whatnot that make it tough??? (word being "MY mind"..) As for her only having one facial expression throughout (aa very common criticism) i don't see that at all. In fact, she has the bestest sung rendition of the word "HATE!" i've ever seen, IMO.

It depends per person; I'm not good with "i"s most of the time, and tight "e"s; occasionally "a"s ... But almost anything in English is difficult for me. >)_<

My rule- Avoid singing to any sort of audience at all cost (except when in a group!)

Right, that's it. When we meet up I'm getting you all to sing. I don't know what yet but I'll think of something.

Perhaps we could re-write a few famous anthem-type songs (Tubthumping please! hehe) to suit our Antistic goingson??

We could all go for "Unexpected Song" then, once we've gathered a crowd and finished, give out 'business cards' and rustle up some members/sigs!

Plus we'll need a key everyone can manage. "Middle" voice gets a bit too low for me, "normal" voice goes into the top screech ...
But it'd probably be better than repeating Phantom of the Opera.

I was going to suggest giving "Phantom" a shot, but as I refuse to sing it while totally alone I doubt I'm going to burst into "Sing for me! Sing my Angel Of Music!" out the front of the Lyric... XD

Well there's nothing really wrong with; I was just wondering if we might end up looking like over-enthused phans. And if we did it we don't have to do the "Sing for Me" bit ((I can to the high note but I don't think it'd be wise)).
There's ... not a backstage door to the Lyric, is there ... ?

Thinking of some carols on the threshold? XD
I'm not sure, we may need to scope out the venue beforehand...

I just had this random image of us standing outside the stage-door, singing, "Come to me, Angel of Music." XD
We need agents in Sydney, dammit. What if he has some sneaky way of escaping?

I had my mind on finding his car. Find his car= find him. But then I thought what if he has a second car? And he might have a system, like at the Princess, of going out another door. Hell, he could leave via the casino, and then we'd have no hope.
Anyone in Sydney willing to do some stakeouts? XD

Wouldn't be surprised if he's bought a new car in light of recent Ant-bushes.
