Reckon I can give Hallmark a run for their money? I wish I could make a career out of messing with Photoshop. I guess I can dream!

Great work unwinding! I particularly like the "I'm a very bad dancer" one. XD
Is it just me or does Komarovsky's coat look like something out of the Cats wardrobe, actually, kind of reminds me of Old Deuteronomy.

Nice work Unwinding! My fav is "THE LOVE DOCTOR" one!
Giz, I agree it looks like he should be singing something from Cats! I've never seen it but have heard some of the songs! XD

Giz, now that you mention it he really does look like Old Deuteronomy! I'm glad I didn't have this revelation when the show was here otherwise I would've been giggling whenever I saw him in it.

Re Hallmark, unwinding - go on, give it a go!! I'd buy them just for me if they had Anthony on the front! I can always dream, can't I???
Agree with Poppy - "LOVE DOCTOR" is my fav, too. Wish he'd been around when I was a nurse way back when - perfect age, too!
And antlove - I'm with you - but I so want to see a DVD so I can envision every single morsel again to match those amazing songs.

If I could, I'd see it every week - TRULY - said with the same inflections that Lara uses to Yurii when he tells her his name (I think I would have done the same - be still my beating heart!). Oh, to win lotto and pay them all to continue with it till I die - that sounds selfish, doesn't it, but at least we could all benefit and have a fantastic time together! And who'd need Stage Door - if I'm paying I'd be watching from the wings - and I'd invite you all to come along, too! Okay, I'm raving but I've had my little slice of heaven again tonight - listening to it - and it's got me all fired up again... Oh, well, back to reality

Just found this and am feeling very excited. Looks like our/my favourite doctor and poet might be touring Scandinavia and Germany, and hopefully Broadway in the not too distant future, according to the following article. It's located at the bottom of the left hand column on the second page. I'm sure his 'embodier' would be thrilled to bits after our talk the other day. www.qantas.com.au/infodetail/flyi....ne/musicals.pdfI'd only been thinking this morning that shows normally take ten years to come back here, and calculated that AW will be 60 if that happens. Can't bear to think of never seeing him in the role again, so if it does go to Broadway or London with him starring, I'll be on the first plane out... (I posted this on the other DZ post - didn't realise there were 2! - so I've put it over here as well for those who are interested and may not see the other one.)

You're very welcome I'd love to see him perform that role again, no matter where it is. Will have to look at the finances and make a date for when he's over there (or London if he gets there first...)

I ... I don't know how I missed that. Unwinding, I'm appalled that I've missed your last lot of photoshopping until today. I was ever so impressed. I'd have more to say but I think I'm racing to try to post before Marie-Cris.

I am intrigued by that article. And pretty stoked too. While it undoubtedly means very few NZ stops for musicals, it's really cool to hear that Australia is considered a 'great launching pad'. Because getting across the ditch is so much easier than crossing the Pacific and then some.

I'm saving already! How exciting ... but I wonder how like "ours" this version will be after Anthony and Luke's comments to me... REALLY hope it's not tooooo different. I thought it was perfect just the way it was (and so did most of the cast from the sound of it)

From an AussieTheatre interview with Lucy Maunder earlier this year link "AT: I ask one final question: if she had her pick, what would she like to do next? Lucy: I’d love to go back and do Zhivago again. It was such an incredible experience and I just wish it had lasted longer. " If only Lucy could reprise the role on Broadway too...

Just had to post this today. 3:00 p.m. 14th August 2011, The Lyric Theatre QPAC One year ago exactly I was sitting in the front row of the Lyric Theatre being mesmerised for the last time by an amazing cast. *Big Sigh* I still miss this show so much and wish I could see it just one more time Thanks to an amazing cast and creative team for their hard work in bringing this to Australia. Chookas to all of you, wherever you are now...
