It was s trial really; once with the audio and once without ((and we had only just started to learn the song so we were all over the shop)).
((Oops, caught out at TAFE >)_<))

Omg... *spazzes at the thought* ^___^ Probably 'Its a Dangerous Game' ooorr 'Phantom of the Opera' - He'd probably drown me out ... or he'd either make me sing better. I find when I sing with very talented male singers (such as the wonderful Blake Erickson from our Amateur Phantom Recording) that my voice gets better - why I dont now - perhaps its a musical chemistry thing.

OOO tough question! as much as I love the musical side of his voice... the jazz/swing side is so different! so I would pick something like 'The best is Yet To Come' or 'World on a String'

Technically it's not a duet, but I have to say that Unwindings concept of him doing a karaoke version of Pina Colada is growing in appeal...

Brave Enough For Love from Jane Eyre. Jane's part is a bit low for me, but Ant would make a great Rochester!

ZMOG!!!!! That's bloomin' brilliant coffeequeen! Ok, well than i opt for doing Sirens with him, from JA; Jane's part is a bit HIGH for me, hehe (the alienation of being an alto) but it's still a song i adore, even though it's not REALLY duet... they both sing and it's gorgeous and oh boy, would Ant tear that role apart!!! *hot flushes, hot flushes*.....

LOL - down girl!!!! Sidenote - there is nothing wrong with being an Alto.. we just can't hit the ultra high notes in all of the Christine-Phantom parts

Ahh the good thing about being an alto - when we can't hit the high notes we just stop quietly and listen to Ant's voice soaring - oh what a dream!!!

This is my autistic boy; the one who signed up for the musical and got a part despite being complete pitch defficient ((rather interesting problem to get around; I'm finding I enjoy teaching singing more than I like teaching guitar)).

It was difficult just teaching him the first half of Baa Baa Black Sheep. Mainly ... because ... I can't do nursery rhymes ...

A lot easier. It's rather strange trying to teach a song you can't play. If Sonata quasi una fantasia had words to it I'd be able to teach him that instead.

That's interesting, i know some autistic kids who have like perfect pitch or the ability to play a song on the piano almost perfectly after only seeing or hearing it once. It's crazy stuff

This boy's more mathamatical than ... musicional ... Ugh. I once wondered whether or not I was slightly autistic because I seem to be able to do difficult things but not easy things. Mind, last week I wondered if I had a slight form of tourette's because I have had the occasional "tic" over the years', I suppose. It's probably just eccentricity though. *shrug*

Do these tics occur during shows? Who is sitting next to Mar at the LSS?

We're in the middle, you know; someone else will be on the other side.
And I don't think so; they don't really happen when I'm singing / mouthing anything. It might be a restless twitch for all I know.

Already existing song, would have to be Wandering Child/Angel of Music from Phantom or possibly Phantom of the Opera.
But I'd REEEEEALLY like to do "To Recap Those Disasters" from my musical 'The Singletons' or re-write 'The Bartender's Ballad' for the both of us... le sigh! Or possibly "Written In The Stars" from Aida... that was such a purdy song!
