Grr.. lucky gizelmo! And my God Mar - i'm SO hiring those dam Barbie dvds; i had no idea such talent lent itself to such trash! Oh, and you can get Anastasia in a dvd package with Tumberlina - a great combo, if you ask me. Liz Callaway and Jodi Benson together = Neh's animated mezzo/soprano heaven! And Aunty Sandra, it's ok - as a kid, i played with pegs. As in clothes pegs. No really - i would sort them into families and communties and sexes and ages by their colour, style and shape. It was a very intricate system that no one else understood! I'd sit under the clothesline in the backyard, dump them all out of the basket, and play with them! And i made them talk, of course

Sounds perfectly normal to me. I still do that when I'm hanging clothes on the line. Have this system where I can only have two pegs of the same colour on the same item of clothing or pair of socks!!!! I think there is a therapy group for people like me!!!!!

I do that too; unless it's really hot and the grass is burning my feet, then I just try and get the same coloured pegs to the same item of clothing.
PS: I've got news. Not much, but head to the petition thread
PPS: True to my word I sat up for a extra 84 minutes to watch the My Little Pony Movie ... there are some things you tend to forget over the years' XD Oh, and Danny DeVito did the voice of the Grundle King ... no, I don't think I can explain that.
"We almost came by way of Grundleland." "*sob sob* Grundleland!! *sob sob*" "*to self* Must remember not to mention Grundleland." "*SOB SOB* GRUNDLELAND!!!! *SOB SOB*" "Grundlemumph."

It's quite adorable yet sickeningly sweet; unfortunately, like the MLP series, they haven't digitally corrected any of the footage, so in areas it's so bright it's like staring into the sun.
But I can live with that.

OMG! The original Care Bears - who watched those vids?! Brilliant stuff! They've brought new ones of those out aswell, the bastards. No child today will appreciate it in the way we did... Hurray! Jo Rowling has actually done an interview on a HP podcast - here's part 1 to download. Enjoy, any fellow Potterheads pottercast.the-leaky-cauldron.org/

I've still got the original Care Bears movie ON TAPE ...
It's followed by Dumbo. XD
I cringed at the thought of Care Bears: The Next Generation. I haven't gone near it at all. It's just. Not. Right.

Lol. u guys crack me up. i must admit iv never really watched care bears or My Little Pony. I was more of a Sesame Street, Playschool, Tellytubies and Banana's in Pyjamas kid. I don't still watch it now cas its not in the time slot I usually watch, but i must admit my favourite line from Bananas was... "Are you thinking what I'm thinking B1?" "I think I am B2." but anyway, u no how im going to see POTO on the 27th, well its quite freaky bcas i got to separate seats, 24 and 29 Row A of the Dress circle. And I'm assuming most of u guys no about the ghost of the Princess theatre 'Frederici' (i think it is) well his seat 25 B Dress Circle is right behind me. but the best thing about it is that I found this article about the launch of POTO and the ghost of Frederici and Anthony was supposedly either sitting or standing in or in front of my seat! Phantom takes his seat Again - Herald Sun this may not b something big for u guys but im just thrilled to be going again to see POTO, sitting right in front of the Princess theatre ghosts seat and possibly sitting in a seat Anthony Warlow has previously sat in. ;D

Hopefully it's the same seat- I had a moment like that backstage at the State Theatre, on a tour, when we went into a dressing room that the guide said "would probably be used by a principle artist." Cue me sitting in front of the mirror and saying to myself "Ant may have sat in this chair" my excitement was tragic, because he may never have set a foot in there...... I can dream......
19 sleeps till my third time at Phantom!! Woot!!

Yeah, well, Federici gave me the fright of my life last night, TWICE!
*hides*
After the show, my friend was waiting for her crutches to be brought to her by one of the ushers, and I turned around to see a figure standing next to *my* seat in the Dress Circle, A15! He was standing there watching me, as if wondering why I wasn't up there! I turned away and turned to look back again, and the figure was gone! I would have liked my seat, but it was already taken . . .
I have sat in DS A15 the other 2 times I have seen Anthony in the Lead Role, each time with *his* presence beside me and his hand resting on my shoulder on and off throughout the show, and both other times I have my floor-length red satin skirt on. But this is the first time I have actually seen him! Maybe Federici likes red satin?!?!?
Then the second time he frightened me was actually OUTSIDE the theatre, I was taking photos of the scenes in the windows, when I heard someone whisper my name, only to turn around and see that there was no-one there! *shivers*
Honest, I might wear that skirt next time I go there, no matter what show, and see what happens. . . . .
BTW, this time, for the FIRST TIME, I was sitting underneath the chandelier, I knew what was going to happen, but it was still a little un-nerving . . . *confuzed*

Ooh freaky!
Bit of an Ant-Happy news: I went down the street today to mail off another letter ((no, not THAT letter, a Christmas letter to my old primary school teacher)) and as I was getting back into my car you-know-who's version of O Holy Night started to play through the town speakers. I am SO happy with whichever council member is sitting behind the button! Normally they play all those poxy Christmas carols covered by people who should be strapped like Hannibal Lecter, but THIS year' ... !
I'm so proud *wipes away a tear*

killerbananas - well we can only hope that he sat in those chairs. and dream too. which reminds me i had a good (well it started off good) but it ended really really sad, well it basically turned into a nightmare really. it was good because i met Anthony (dream on) and we wer having a lovely conversation and then we began to talk about Phantom and suddenly he began to cry, tears wer rolling down his cheeks (and I was crying just to see him so upset) and he sighed "Phantoms not going to continue, I've been diagnosed again." By then I was absolutely bawling, but fortunately I woke up. It was really sad and really scary, but i felt i had to get it off my chest. I just hope its nothing. anyway this shuldn b in the jekyll thread, i just got side tracked as usual. kylie - wooow! thats really freaky. *hides* u actually saw him! thats really cool. what did he look like? like the figure described in the article? mar - aww mar! thats sweet!

It doesn't work if you put the link in between the url code boxes; it just comes up as the partially unclickable thing like it is now. So: Clicky! = Clicky!= GOOD. I really should make that How-To thread one of these days ... Tellytubbies ... *twitch* I watched Sesame Street, PlaySchool ((gaaaaaah!!)) and Bananas in Pajamas too when I was a kid; but above all I love the classic cartoons and shows. Like Agro's Cartoon Connection. XD EDIT: ... It looks like Ant's having an asm of his own ... NO! SHUT UP MAR! BAD MAR! BAD! *whip*

Anyone remember Mr Sqiggle? And how he always drew upside down? Good times....
Two pieces of good news for me: 1- I'm going to (hopefully) get tickets to see Phantom again, making it a grand total of 4 times!!
2- My work has finally stepped up it's musical tastes (or downgraded it, as my deluded co-workers think), by playing tracks from Back In The Swing!! Makes serving at a register for 4 hours during the Christmas rush so much more bearable!!

Phantasy- the tickets? Nope (see the Hyde thread for my rant!!)
And yeah, I do sing, as customers approach I kinda tone it down though....It's even gotten to the point my co-workers and I have a seriously lame dance for "Orange Coloured Sky"...so tragic!

However I do not remember any of this.. *cough*cough* XD Ohhh I know! I hate the new Postman Pat themesong! The other one was alot better, even though I can only vaguely remember how it went.. somin like Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat and his black and white cat! Thats all i can remember lol. Oh I remember Fireman Sam, but I can't remember much about him. I probably didnt watch it a much. I also liked watchin Rugrats, he he! XD Tommy was the best! *thumbsup* Oh and killerbananas I was referring to when you'd written 1- I'm going to (hopefully) get tickets to see Phantom again, making it a grand total of 4 times!!So yeah hope you get tickets! *thumbsup* Lol I'd love to see that dance! sounds funny!

Do you know Mr Squiggle was around when I was a child? Of course it was in black and white and shaky (before colour television!!!!!) and we had Miss Pat, but I loved it. My boys had a version of the Postman Pat theme song - Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat ran over his cat! Blood and fur were flying, Postman Pat was crying, Vowed he'd never drink and drive again!!!! I think there's something in that for all of us!! Postman Pat was one of their favourites along with Fireman Sam -I think Elvis Cridlington and Bella Lasagne were two of the more inspired character names in children's television. But our all time favourite was Tales From Fat Tulip's Garden (read by Tony Robinson - Baldrick from Blackadder) It was absolutely inspired stuff and I used to watch it (and Thomas the Tank Engine!!) even if the boys weren't home!!!! And now for my Jekyll moment........... I've got 5 days in a row off!!!!!!!!I am on call from 8pm to 8am Christmas Night and Boxing Night but the days are all mine!! Have 9 Lessons & Carols Sunday Night and then Midnight Mass on Monday night then a stupendous supper after it. Started buying food this afternoon to prepare for the 200 or so we get to supper. How's this for a menu... Platters of curried egg and lettuce sandwiches and minced chicken with cranberry mayonnaise sandwiches; mini spring rolls and dim sims with strawberry chilli dipping sauce; Thai Chicken Balls (have had to scour the state looking for Thai Chickens who are willing to be castrated!!!!!); mini toasts with coriander pesto, goats cheese and sundried cherry tomatoes; beetroot and mint dip; sweet potato and cashew dip; guacamole dip, fruit and cheese platter (crumbly Tas Cheddar, creamy Tas Brie, strawberries, blueberries and grapes) and, finally little shortcrust pastry cups filled with either prawn, coriander and sweet chilli in cream cheese or smoked salmon, chives, black pepper and horseradish in cream cheese. You are all welcome, as long as you help with the washing up afterwards so I can get to bed before 3am this year!!!!!!!!! Oops! Sorry gizelmo. Just noticed that while I was posting this entry that you beat me to it with the alternate Postman Pat!
