I am really happy because finally my Richmond Tigers won another game - and they beat Collingwood so you have to love that. I am a member and go every week they play in Melbourne so this season there has not been much joy and I have been suffering.
Only disappointment was due to a malfunction of the MCG speakers, they could not play our song. Gee it was only the second time to get played this year. It's the only time I sing in public but the fans all sung it anyway. Happy time.

I normally don't post because I can't really think of anything to say about Anthony Warlow that hasn't been said here already, however, in two weeks I will make my professional opera debut as Pish-Tush in Gilbert & Sullivan's "The Mikado" at Western Plains Opera Company in the United States. The only thing I could think about is how I will be singing the same opera (and getting paid to do it) as Anthony Warlow.
Yay me!

I'm off to visit friends in Kiama today/tonight - it's a little seaside town an hour out of Woolongong (WHOOOT! GO ANT'S HOMETOWN!) so while i'm there i will think of the city just north of me and the wonderous talent it spawned some 42 (?) years ago..... Anyhoos, i'm off to a 21st that is a pajama party, so i plan to be lovely and cosy all evening!

Thanks Mar - it wasn't my kind of party (basically, it was a 'piss-up') so i stayed indoors away from the action for most it. My sister downed jelly shots and my mum whacked a pinyata with a shovel, so they had fun, hehe!

Flies! Bushfire! Flies! Cicadas! Flies! Hot air that smells like bushfire and flies!!!

Starting to, yes. We haven't put the fire on at night for about a week now and the other day the temp. got to 29. It's sort of been bouncing around in the 20s since, like right now it's only 22 or 23 or something like that and it feels kind of cold.

We generally tend to get the Spring weather early in this part of S.A.; it's the sunshine district after all.
