I have had a great few days away!!!!!!
Haven't got time to do much at the moment. In Qantas Club in Melbourne waiting for my delayed flight home and then back to work from 4pm till 10pm tonight. Have just had time to catch up on all the posts while I've been away. So many signatures and new members. Guess we get to celebrate 100 members and 100 signatures now Mar. Made notes when I got back to my hotel room last night on the two night's performances I saw (with two different Phantoms) but the review will take more time than I've got now. Need to find a drink before we get called to fly home to Tepid Tassie! Couldn't sleep for thinking of the experiences I've had over the last couple of days. So far removed from real life and very memorable. I am one happy little Vegemite (very Aussie reference for our O/S posters!!!). Stay tuned for the review either late tonight or tomorrow.
PS didn't run into Ant but Santo Cilauro (The Panel, The Dish, The Castle etc etc) and his family were in the queue for a cab at the airport behind me on Wednesday night and I saw Kochie and Mel at the races yesterday. No comparison with Ant I know but clutching at straws here.

Oddly enough I did that the other day, only I had crawled under the computing table and arguing with the air how much I didn't want to work at Nippy's. *shrug* EDIT: I just read this msn news; not too shabby. There's also link in the side bar where people talk about movies and so forth; people like Tommy Lee Jones, Michael Douglas and David Lynch. Not really happy news, just ... news of general interest. |

I sent text messages to everyone I could think of when I came out of the theatre after finally seeing the one true Ph-Antom! (Seeing Anthony in that role had been up till then an unfulfilled dream. When he dropped out in 1990 I couldn't be bothered making the effort to even try to persuade my ex to go as Rob Guest kinda left me cold.)
Discovered that unbeknowns to me my best friend from Perth had been to see it the night before with his Mum and neither of us knew the other was in Melbourne!!! And I was staying next to the theatre and thought I had glimpsed him in the foyer as I walked past the night before but dismissed the sighting as pure imagination.
It's hard to SHOUT in a text message but I think everyone got the general idea!

you know . . .I did that very same thing a few minutes after I saw the show. Only I e-mail my mom and said that - in BIG letters, too. (She's the only one I could think of who would care and even then there was NO WAY I could explain it all properly!)
