Cinta that list is perfect!! Might I add Reflections from Jekyll and Hyde? Hell, anything from Jekyll and Hyde, really, like The World Has Gone Insane ((has begun its conversion - MWUA HA HA! *cough*)).
"So wonderful is his love of liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiife! So wonderful is his love of ... life."
"I see the Reaper grinning at my door!"
And why not.

That truly is a great and terrible song to listen to in moments of your own inner turmoil... i remember my good friend and pen pal Lauren saying to me one night when she was so very down that she just couldn't stop playing "The World Has Gone Insane" even though it wasn't helping her mindset at all. Incredbile. And very apt. Sorry - today's random rant from Neh is now covered!

I find it quite helpful; the up-beat tempo and his delicious growls ... *searches for a pen to bite, finds none, bites own finger as substitute. Pain.*

Not sure if you're that interested but this is a review I did (on another website ) about a concert Anthony did in Hobart with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. It was early 2006. Buff
Does anyone know what show this picture of Anthony is from? Buff

So the mysterious origins of that picture still haven't been solved, huh? It reminds me of that NZ interview he did recently and the interviewer suggested that Tom Bowling was like an "arm on the fireplace" song, but obviously this is long before Tenor and Baritone! I honestly can't help with that Oh, you were lucky enough to see THAT concert! From what I heard it sounded like someone had a bit of a crash, but that could have been a backstage door slamming *shrug* I loved the Frank Spencer imitation. "And the lady on the other end said: 'Is this the first child?' and I said: 'No, it's the husband!'" Classic

My guess is the pic is from My Fair Lady. I actually ran into a bigger version of the picture a while ago through the searching engine, and I remember it's dated 1997. That's the year when he did My fair lady and the costume and background do look quite possibly to be in the show. But it's just my guess.
And thanks for the review, Buff. I couldn't find any official review after it was held last year.

That picture is how I found the other forum after I had made this one, actually; and it was the bigger version. I suppose it could be for My Fair Lady; I wish I had seen it, if that's part of the set it's quite detailed, although his outfit doesn't strike me as something that he nor Henry Higgins would wear ((but not having seen it, what would I know?!))

The staircase is very much like that used in My Fair Lady but Anthony looks very young in the face so if it was from this, I would guess it was the 1993 production he did for Victorian State Opera.
I went to that production and I am trying to find my programme to check if the photo is in there. So far no luck - it's in a black hole somewhere.

I'm thinking MFL but who knows??? And Buff, i saw a very similar concert of Ant's at the beginning of last year too - good stuff, eh? His impressions are always excellent - the man's a bloomin' genius!

I would have loved to have seen that concert Buff. Sounds excellent.
A couple of years ago I went to Queensland for "An evening with Anthony Warlow" and the range of songs and material covered was sensational.
Suppose we have a long wait before we get more concerts like this as I get the feeling Phanthom will be Anthony's focus for the next year.

Hi there
Just going through some old video clips and in one interview they showed a short montage of productions Anthony has starred in and there was a snipet where Anthony was dressed in the clothes in the picture Buff has in his signature. The pants are brown and the vest and tie navy blue and a light blue shirt.
The clip was Anthony singing "The Rain in Spain" so that answer to everyone's question is that the photo is from My Fair Lady, 1993 production he did for Victorian State Opera.

Unfortunately Jazzgirl I only have a work computer without a dvd player so it is hard to get clips on a medium to share. Hopefully I will work out a way around it one day.
Yeh Neh, it is amazing what you find when you rummage. I saw on You Tube a clip of "My Funny Valentine" and thought I would love a copy of that - only to find I already have it.

That pic from My Fair Lady looks so old school (I know, '93 was a while ago, but still) It looks almost like something from the 'golden age of Broadway'!
Back with the songs, I have to say that 'You're Nothing Without Me' blew me away the first time I heard it, and at first couldn't believe it was Ant doing both parts- until I really listened! Another of my favourites from Centre Stage is 'The Impossible Dream'. That ending "reach, the unreachable, staaaaaaaaaaaaaar!" wow. Must have been INCREDIBLE live!
