I've had time to rationalise. ALW knows he's f*cked, hence why he's approaching the world's best Phantom to headline. Bet he's down on his knees begging Anthony to lend his brilliance to this revolting excuse for a musical.

Btw, just *had* to do my Disney fangirling for tinsy second and point out that yes, The Little Mermaid IS getting currently trashed by most critics on B'way, but it ain't coz of the new songs, which are actually all quite ok. (i even daresay really like a few) It's the staging - they be on roller skates. Need i say more?

I can't imagine Anthony, let alone anybody else who's genuinely invested themselves in the role of the Phantom, really wanting to be a part of the sequel. *grimaces* I'm somewhere between laughing my arse off and groaning every time read updates about Phantom 2. Hahaha!! Maybe we'll at least get a couple of nice tunes out of it?? :S
