So we are supposed to believe that Erik had his way with Christine when she had fainted.... and then slipped into something more comfortable being the Chinese robe. Pleaseeee no. It supposedly happened in the final lair - Raoul apparently took an hour to find them. Which doesn't really make sense considering the way Erik reacts when Christine kisses him at the end, considering they had just... well you know! Unwinding, Raoul's disfigurement in the book is from when he tried to save a girl, who I think was being robbed, and he was shot in the lower abdominal area and can therefore not have children.

If the poor guy turns into a sobbing mess from a little kiss (and remembering it was a kiss on the forehead in the book) would you really expect him to be capable of anything more? Again, I respond in graphic form:

"Lower abdominal area!!" That's one way of putting it! Gives a whole new meaning to "ab workout" ! *giggletantrum* *giggletantrum*

Wait, so Raoul happily raises this child knowing full-well it's not his own?
Or does he take it as a sign of a miraculous recovery? *giggletantrum*

I was raised to be aware of religion, not to follow it.
That, and I've seen the South Park episode about the Anti-Christ.

Oh well, that's OK then! I like the two episodes about Scientology and the Book of Mormon!

I missed that episode; missed a lot of episodes, actually, but I would've loved to have seen that one.

There isn't a growl effective enough to show my displeasure.
But so help me if I have to promote it in order to get our recording, I will do it.

Ditto. And even then i think i'd have to pack a stress ball and a ton of panadol with me, just in case it is as painful as i expect it to be. Film-Sweeney taught me a lesson in that department.

Oh, dear... was film-Sweeney really that bad? I haven't seen it yet. I love the actors, but on the whole, I feel somewhat indifferent towards seeing the movie itself.

Oh, it wasn't bad... rather, it was EXCREMENT set to song and score.... and possibly one of the greatest musical scores of the 20th century mind you, and they had to KILL it! Oh Mr Burton, you will be answering for this on your deathbed, buddy....

I downloaded it, and then cursed the waste of my bandwidth.
It's not that it's bad, as such, it's just lost all of the elements of humor that made the original so popular. so if you're after a version to watch, I recommend the OBC proshot DVD. very funny.

I thought it was absolutely hilarious but that could be my warped sense of humour...
Honestly, what was so terrible about it? You say it lost some of the gags. Anything else I'm overlooking...?

i liked it but then again i wasn't that familiar with the OBC when i saw it. i did like the actors interpretations, but the OBC vocals are definitely better XD
@ unwinding, they cut some songs, changed toby's age, just the usual lol
