^ A lot; it's so strange, because my peers at school would always be talking about the age of their grandparents, which happens to be my folks' ages. You can barely tell their age by looking at them, but they're in the 50 - 60 range now.
> Oh my goodness ... I'm listening to IoN Live at the Powerhouse for the first time in ages; I'd forgotten about Nick's falsetto for Stayin' Alive. >)_<

Post by Marie-Cris on Feb 27, 2008 16:52:59 GMT 9.5
^ When you're unemployed, every day feels like a Sunday ((because if every day felt like a Saturday my muscles would have melted by now)).
> I have hay fever and it HURTS! My fingers smell like onion! And I hate that I can't remember the password to the photobucket account specifically for Ant pics, nor the e-mail for said account, nor the password for said's e-mail account!
... Hayfever effs my brain.
V Ever get hayfever?
Post by killerbananas on Mar 1, 2008 19:48:02 GMT 9.5
^ Very mildly and rarely.
> I just manged to work Phantom into my analytical essay for 'The Crucible', as well as writing the ANTonomic nervous system AGAIN and using Phantom pics as inspiration for photography- is it time to get help? XD
V Ever worked an Ant reference into school/uni/TAFE work?
Post by Marie-Cris on Mar 1, 2008 21:16:11 GMT 9.5
^ No, but I have loaded my Face the Music album onto the TAFE computers ... > I was just wondering earlier what would be the symptoms of "too much". V Oh Goddess, she's done another one.Am I losing it?

> those damn taxi's, WE WERE FINE!!!!!
V ever heard of a book series called twilight?
Post by killerbananas on Mar 2, 2008 17:44:51 GMT 9.5
^ Indeed. You have been reading it > Funny how Ant protected us from the harrassment of taxi drivers, and I think it was me who addressed the drivers, with a few background comments from others....I'm not fond of Melbourne cabbies! V Favourite book you keep re-reading?
Post by Marie-Cris on Mar 2, 2008 19:46:34 GMT 9.5
^ Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett.
> Yeah I made a comment in the description that it was you Becs, although I think I pointed the speech bubbles at Lauren ... still, it's draft mode, plenty of time to change.
SuperAnt strikes again.
V Site ((aside from here)) you spend far too much time on?
Post by killerbananas on Mar 2, 2008 20:58:23 GMT 9.5
^ Television Without Pity (TWoP) and it's associated forums. That and Wikipedia- I want to fix Ant's page so much, but I can't be bothered joining....there's a few things I'd change actually...
> Anyway, Just finished watching "Jekyll", which was better than I expected, although I kept imagining Ant all through it. "Ant would do this, Ant would do that...."
V Any TV role you'd like to see Ant play?
Post by MuLo on Mar 3, 2008 14:13:26 GMT 9.5
^ Not a TV role, but I'd love to see Anthony do an ep of "Thank God You're Here", he's improv skills and classic comic timing would be a guaranteed show stopper!
> The electrics in my car have gone haywire. I have to put in a fuse everytime I try to start it, then take it out when I stop it. Even more disasterous, the STEREO'S NOT WORKING!!! No Anthony CDs for my 1hr drive to and from work!!!! Woe is ME!!
V Have you mastered the art of the four-minute-shower?

^ Only if I don't wash my hair ... my hair is really thick.

V the most creative way you've gotten out of something?
Post by killerbananas on Mar 4, 2008 20:19:08 GMT 9.5
^ Getting my necklace caught in my hair- I forgot to take it out before free-arm, did a forwards walkover and BAM necklace entangled in my bun. It took me about half an hour undoing my hair and removing the necklace. Got me out of learning a Russian Switch in a Tigerstand....long story XD
> I have to learn them this year anyway, so it kinda would have been good to learn them last year!
V Activity or hobby you'd love to take up?
Post by Marie-Cris on Mar 4, 2008 20:35:02 GMT 9.5
^ Ice skating. I had four aspirations as a little girl ((and when I say little I mean ... 4 years' old)) : 1) To become a gold-medal Olympic figure skater 2) To become a gold-medal Olympic archer 3) To become a champion golf player and 4) To become a champion Ballroom dancer.
Well, 5 aspirations if you count the forced decision of wanting to be a vet ...
> I got a call from one of the primary schools the other day and they said they'll be glad to take me on as a guitar teacher and will let me know as soon as they know how many kids are interested ...
... did I ever mention that kids find me an easy target to pick on?
V Thing you dread the most?

V If you could get Ant to sign any item you own, what would it be?
Post by Marie-Cris on Mar 6, 2008 20:35:24 GMT 9.5
^ My guitar. Definitely. My Maton though, not my Ashton ((poor little thing's getting neglected; but Maton sounds so much better than Ashton! >)_< ))
> My MP3 is playing a lot of Warlow tonight; how rare. He's ranting to the Board of Governors atm.
V Last book you read?
Post by killerbananas on Mar 6, 2008 21:03:32 GMT 9.5
^ Finished? Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Hilarious! Reading atm, Schindler's List.
> Picked up a 3 disc set of 'Hooked On Classics' for $9 from JB- love it!
V Best CD bargain you've gotten?
Post by Marie-Cris on Mar 6, 2008 22:28:34 GMT 9.5
^ Umm ... XD
The second copy of Face the Music I bought on the 9th ...
> I don't have that one!! There's a lot of Pratchett I don't have ... heck I even want Where's My Cow. I read it in Dymmocks once ... I don't care that it's a children's book, if I have children that's one book I'm going to read to them.
V Favourite Discworld character?
Post by killerbananas on Mar 7, 2008 21:59:58 GMT 9.5
^ Um, The Amazing Maurice is a Discworld, right? I can't find it at the moment but I'm pretty sure it says something about "set in Discworld" on the cover....in that case, I'm saying Maurice, because is one cool cat. Literally.
> Just got mad at an old article in Dance Australia when Chloe Dallimore commented that "there's no way to achieve in the Australian theatre industry. The only way to get anywhere is go to Broadway." Excuse me?!
V Stupidest question you've ever heard?
Post by Marie-Cris on Mar 7, 2008 22:04:41 GMT 9.5
^ "How can you NOT love HSM?" >)_<
> I haven't actually read that one, but it's a bit of an extension story; not entirely a part of the series and yet in some stories the incident with Maurice is mentioned.
((I would've chosen Death; he's so adorable! That and The Luggage. I want luggage like that!))
V Book you would like to see as a film that hasn't been done already?
Post by killerbananas on Mar 7, 2008 22:08:08 GMT 9.5
^ Tomorrow When The War Began. I love the series, and despite I know it would be slaughtered, it would be interesting to see how a filmmaker would interpret it. Especially how the invaders would be portrayed.
> Ok, that article just keeps getting worse....
V Most precious belonging in your room?
Post by Marie-Cris on Mar 7, 2008 22:22:45 GMT 9.5
^ Oh ... oh ... it's down to my laptop ((which hides the Christmas card neh sent me with the inverted prediction)), my Maton, the Phantom program and the ((unbroken)) Face the Music album. Oh, and the photos of us.
> I'm forcing myself to stay awake and out of my room; the rellies will be here by midnight and since there's 5 of them I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight. Or trying to. Either way ...
V Person ((other than Ant)) you would like to meet the most?
Post by killerbananas on Mar 8, 2008 10:34:04 GMT 9.5
^ I've got it down to either Richard Gill- I'd love to pick his brain about opera, or Tim Burton, because I love the way he shows things as being surreal... either one of them and I would be happy.
> Or Julie Goodwin, because I feel my autograph collection is incomplete...
V Whose autograph (besides Ant's) would you love to get?

^ Don McLean's. But now I'll never get the chance!! > I'm rather annoyed about that. And the heat. I don't feel like going to karate today ... but I'm already dressed, so I might as well go. V Coping with the heat?
