^ "Why are you so short?" Which came from the mouth of a 9 year' old when I was in Year' 12. I hate the racist brats in this town. > Jee, I wonder what could have provoked that? XD V How many musicals have you attended? ((not performed in))

^ According to my pile of programs and my memory, I've seen 26- some more than once.... > I collect programs, yet I don't have one from when Grease came to Ballarat. Why? And I was wondering if I should have a case made for my Phantom program, since it was vandalised by a madman with a silver sharpie XD
V Do you collect anything?

^ I too have a small, yet growing, collection of musical programs. I have no idea how many I have ever seen, must be heading towards 100 I guess.
> I don't have a program for every show, sometimes the very limited budget just won't stretch that far. POTO in Melbourne last year cost me over $1000.00. POTO in Brisbane in a week or so is setting me back $500.00. But I still have a program from POTO - and mine suffered the same "madman-sharpie" fate as killerbananas!!
V My work uniform is covered with fundraising pins - Daffodil Day, Jeans for Jeans Day etc etc. Do you wear any personal item, or a piece of "yourself" on your work/school uniform?

^ Well I was never without some sentimental necklace or earrings growing up; when I finally gave up on trying to convert to the 5 mainstream religions I adopted the pentacle. Been wearing them ever since. And as I have a habit of wearing more than one necklace at a time, my average daily wear is a purple amethyst heart, a silver pentacle, the silver heart locket I treated myself to for my 21st and the silver-but-going-green-for-some-reason Phantom mask pendant.
No surprise I tend to jingle when I walk.
> I suppose I have a handful of programs, but most of them were performances I was in. Apart from those, I have the latest Phantom programs - one attacked by Ant - and the Pirate of Penzance program from early last year' - attacked by Dennis Olsen. XD
V What's the longest time you've spent awake?

^ 50 hours! > I was working in the Pilbara, coming off night shift I didn't bother going to bed, then we had an impromptu party that evening which ended up being an all nighter at a mates place several km out of town. I wasn't drinking so had to drive everyone home the next morning. Then I just stayed busy until bed time that night! So, in the end, 50 hours - without drugs or alcohol but with good mates! Them where the days!

Well it was night time in Australia when it actually happened!! It was like 2 in the morning or something like that.
> I suppose mother noticed my Scarlet Pimpernel music book because she asked whether or not Ant had been in it ... Sometimes she scares me.

Mars Said: I was asleep. Well it was night time in Australia when it actually happened!! It was like 2 in the morning or something like that.
Hee Hee For the record, it was 9:15pm WA time and 11:15pm Eastern time!!
^ At an aquarium with my head against the main display - with the most beautiful Grey Nurse Sharks and Black Smooth Rays silently flying through the water around me.
> In ten days I am flying to Brisbane to see a little known Gothic musical called "Phantom of the Opera", do you know it?? That will make once in Toronto (Canada), once in Perth (with "Second-best Guest"), once in Melbourne (Antasm!) and once in Brisbane!!
V I only go to Brisbane when I really have to, I intensely dislike the place. Very aggressive and unfriendly. Do you have a favourite AUSTRALIA City, or a least favourite city?

^ Constantly. It has a bad habit of freezing in the middle of scanning and, if it does manage to work, it takes ages and ages and ages to load the image.
> Guess what I found out today? I have a cousin in Germany called Erik, with a "k" and everything! XD

^ Twice, both times to the Philippines. First time I was a baby so I don't remember ((but apparently, on the plane, I was playing in the aisle and a woman nearly stepped on me, which caused mum to explode into a rant)). Second time was in 97.
> So that's where he sauntered off too after Christine left. XD Darn it, does he compose?

^ The Paris Opera House, and I'd pay for the (apparantly very expensive) complete tour, which involves climbing from the highest point of the roof to the level of the lake, being shown all the nooks and crannies and hearing all the stories.....
> I'm currently having to choreograph a graceful solo for a calisthenics test, and I'm stuck between "Empty Chairs At Empty Tables" or "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again"....both have good and bad points, and I can't decide!

V do you own more CD's or DVD's?
|
|
|
Post by Marie-Cris on Feb 23, 2008 20:20:30 GMT 9.5
^ That's actually a good question, and I don't know ... I guess I have more CDs. They fill up one and a quarter shelves on my bookshelf, and my DVDs fill up two and a bit, but given the size of DVDs - plus I keep the G&S Box Set in the actual box ((I'm regretting throwing out the box cover to the Monty Python Box Set)) - I'm assuming I have more CDs.
I meant on the shelf, but that works too; I can't stand it when I do them out of order.
((and yet my room is a total sty))
> I'm trying to get a mental image of peanut butter m&ms and ... I just can't. I think I have enough peanut butter on my toast each morning anyway. >)_<

> Had to take my Dad to Accident & Emergency last night to have his head stitched up. He had a stumble in the carpark at the Tasmania/Victoria One-Day Cricket Final at Bellerive Oval and headbutted a wall. He's 77 and a tough old guy, but the first time either of my parents have hurt themselves. Mum is 70 ( she was only 21 when she had me) today so guess my worry years are just beginning.
