ˆ If you mean one film he's actually done then I'd say Pirates. I love the music. If you mean ANY one then I'd say a film version of Jekyll and Hyde. I'd love to see how he would handle it.
> I spent a lot of money today on beads and jewelry making supplies and now am off to add to my inventory.
V If you could ask him to sing ANY song that he has never (that you know of) previously sung, what song would you request?

> I work 100km from where I live. My computer is at my work accommodation, my stereo and DVD player is at home. I take my pillow with me everytime I travel from one place to the other.
V How many times have you travelled interstate to see Anthony perform (either solo concert or show)?

> I think I'm going mad; everyone with my family gene is crazy, true, but I truly think I'm going mad.
And it's all HIS fault!! *thud*
V ((Forgive me for this one; purely for the girls)) If Warlow asked you to be his mistress ((of course that's impossible, this one of those "what if" scenarios ... like on Spiderman)) ... would you be?
Please note that I don't want to see his marriage fall apart; this is the only question I could think of after 20 minutes of staring at the screen.

^ No, I'm after an emotional connection with Anthony, based on mutual respect, not intimacy.
> I am an amatuer writer and have been published in three small publications. I am not musical, but co-wrote a song with a very talented French musician. My dream is to hear our song peformed live one day. Especially by Anthony.
V Have you ever purchased, and proudly worn, a Daffodil Day pin?
|

|
Post by lucinab on Nov 25, 2007 2:09:10 GMT 9.5
ˆ I've never been in Australia for Daffodil Day so I haven't had the pleasure of getting one. In theory, yes, I would buy and wear one.
> I started a small jewelry business and, next June, am moving to Hollywood, CA to attend Cinema Makeup School.
V What is your favorite word to say?

|
Post by MuLo on Nov 25, 2007 11:23:06 GMT 9.5
^ Oogadaboogada! I know, it's not a real word, but I am a rural nurse who hears more blue language in a day than anyone deserves. We are constantly being called "Fn white C" etc. So, in an effort not to lower myself to the same level of the "vocabularly challenged", instead of swearing, I say oogadaboogada. It's very versatile, can be a good exclamation or a short, sharb jab of frustration. Feel free to try it, anytime you like.
> I once drove for three days, from Outback northwest Queensland to Brisbane, in time for Anthony's "Face the Music" show. I arrived Just In Time (by a matter of hours). From the front row seat, it was so worth it!!
V If you had the power of time travel - would you go BACK in time to relive a special Anthony experience? Or, would you go FORWARD in time to the next Anthony experience?

^ Probably back to Thursday 8th of November (I know, it's only 2 weeks ago!) to relive my Antastic moment agaian and again - see previous posts re eye contact moment. Or else the concert he did with Tas Symphony last Feb. Sublime evening in a fabulous intimate concert hall.
> In 2002 I travelled to England as a standin treble or boy soprano (only 5 foot so got away with it) in my son's all boy four part (SATB) chapel choir when not enough boy sopranos signed up for the tour. Sang in St Paul's Cathedral to a large congregation and led the choir in and out following the same path as centuries of choristers before me. Surreal experience. Also sang in York Minster, Worcester Cathedral and did a workshop with a college choir in Oxford.
V Which 5 people (living or dead) would you invite to a dinner party?
|
|
|
Post by Marie-Cris on Nov 25, 2007 22:26:18 GMT 9.5
^ I have to go with living people with these choices; I don't want any more corpses at my table.
Anthony Warlow Alan Rickman Terrence Mann Richard O'Brien Tim Curry
((although if either RoB or TC can't make it, I'd invite either David Bowie or Willem Dafoe to fill their seat))
> Coincidence MuLo; I've been struggling to compose a song for years' that Warlow would be proud to sing. Sadly I'm not much of a composer, as my MySpace clearly demonstrates. ((And good answer with my previous question; I would've said the same thing. Just worded differently, because if I said it exactly as you would've said it that might get somewhat ... creepy.
Ignore me, I'm going mental.))
V If you won a competition to give a title to Anthony Warlow's next album ((presuming / hoping he does another one)), what would you call it? ((This is what happens when you stare at the cover of Tenor and Baritone for too long.))

^ Hmm, bloody good question. I reckon something along the lines of: Anthony Warlow; "My Choice" - Indicating an album of songs selected specifically by Anthony according to what he wants to express at the time.
> It is after 11pm here and I MUST go to bed. "Must stop posting, go to bed, go to sleep, due at work at 6:45am!! GO TO BED!! Stop making me post!"
V Have you ever participated in a Relay for Life?

^ No; I don't ever recall there being one held in this town ... ever.

ˆ no, but I would if I had someone fun to go with me and a good place to learn. My friend (who lives in another city) is in Kung Fu and loves it.
> I recently took a trip out east and drove home though Pennsylvania. The trees in the mountains of Pennsylvania are GORGEOUS in November.
V When/if you go to the zoo, what is your favorite animal to watch?

Post by Marie-Cris on Nov 27, 2007 17:50:33 GMT 9.5
^ Oh ... I haven't been to a zoo since I was a kid. I suppose its a tie between the seals, the tigers and the birds ((any birds)).

V Apples or Pears?

^ Um ... Apples? ((good answer BTW))
> You know how Warlow inserts that almost nervous hand-flicking into his characters? I do that too, only for real. Thing is I started doing it before I'd ever seen him ((I mean on DVDs and other footage)). The similarities are beginning to scare me. I only brought this up now because it seems to have gone into overdrive since I saw Phantom.
...
In other news, it's so hot the Mood has melted out of my Ring ((seriously, the mood ring I always wear has gone white, I think it's broken)).
V What generally happens in your household on Christmas? *xmas*

^ I go to work. Someone has to do it. I am not married, don't have any children and my family are spread all over the world. So, I go to work. We usually have a good time, the kitchen supplies us with Xmas Lunch, all uniform regulations go out the window and we do our best to have a good time.
> It doesn't always work. Last Christmas Day we had a motorbike accident fatality. No fun doing CPR or watching a life slip away on Christmas Day. It was very traumatic. We all arrived at work on Boxing Day and said: "This year, Christmas is December 26!!" And we made it a good day, as best we could!
V Do you like Christmas more as an adult than you did as a child? (I do!!)
|
|
|
Post by sanderella59 on Dec 2, 2007 20:13:11 GMT 9.5
^ *xmasloon* I love Christmas much better as an adult. You can still get to experience it as your inner child, but you can get lots out of doing Christmassy things for other people as well, instead of just thinking what you'll get. I love the whole catastrophe - carols and tacky songs, Home Alone, cooking, decorations, getting out the tree and hanging all the special ornaments I've collected over the years, Midnight Mass, Christmas TV specials, watching my boys at 19 & 22 dragging their Santa sacks I made them as babies into my bedroom for the present unwrapping melee early on Christmas morning and our glorious noisy Christmas dinner with extended family - up to 20 at last count (I'm one of three girls, both parents are still alive and my sisters both have spouses, children and stepchildren).
>My cat is having a great time while I am posting this chasing the shadows my hands are making on the carpet while I am typing.
V What's the bravest thing you've ever done?
|
|
|
Post by lucinab on Dec 8, 2007 16:34:00 GMT 9.5
ˆ In retrospect, it's not very brave, but it was very scary and felt brave at the time. The store I was working in was robbed one evening just before closing by a man in a black mask waving a gun. I saw him, but he didn't see me so I ran out the back door, across the parking lot to another store and called the police as fast as I could. I'd NEVER in my life talked to the police before. I was running on adrenaline because I was so scared for the other girls in the store. All the dreadful things flashed through my mind - hostage situation, rape, murder . . . The police came and, come to find out, one of the girls in the store did something REALLY brave. She recognized that the gun was a fake and hit him. He, in turn, hit her and she got a few stitches for it. In the end, the cash register was empty and he got away without a dime!
> The police never caught him.
v Would you ever dye all your hair bright pink just for the heck of it?
|
|
|
Post by Marie-Cris on Dec 12, 2007 14:58:16 GMT 9.5
^ Pink? No. I don't want the Frenchie look. Plus I'm not a hair-dying person, but if I did ever do so I'd have possibly red or purple streaks.
> I had lunch hours' ago and I'm still hungry. Man that bites. XD
V In terms of jewellery ((sorry guys)), do you prefer to wear gold or silver?
|
|
|
Post by killerbananas on Dec 21, 2007 20:47:05 GMT 9.5
^ Silver, although I seem to introducing a bit more gold into the collection...
>I am listening to my grandmother call the cat (whose name is Sox in one house and Erik at my house) Papageno, even though she's knows thats not the cats name.
V If Ant asked you to buy and name a pet for him, what you buy and call it?
|
|
|
Post by Marie-Cris on Dec 30, 2007 21:45:53 GMT 9.5
^ A Murray Darling Python, and I'd call it "Doc" ((ten points if you can work out why))
> We've had visitors here since 2 this arvo; it's almost 11 AND THEY'RE STILL NOT LEAVING!! WHYYYYYYYYYYYY?!
V Ever had visitors out-stay their welcome?

^ Yes. Often. < Is it wrong to watch a movie just for the nice looking, buff men and not give a rat's about the storyline/dialogue? V Ever had the urge to smack someone you see on the television because they're irritating?
|
|
|
Post by Marie-Cris on Jan 5, 2008 17:15:23 GMT 9.5
^ Yes to your second question; quite often. Lately it's been Miley Cyrus ((she's EVERYWHERE!!!!))
> To your first question, if it is then I'm in trouble of sorts. I bought Congo only because of Tim Curry ... and the line "Stop eating my sesame seed cake!"
V What is the one television show you cannot stand to watch?
|
|
|
Post by killerbananas on Jan 7, 2008 21:25:30 GMT 9.5
^ Ready Steady Cook...or any thing that begins with the words "This is a paid presentation by Guthy Renker Australia" XD
> It's now 20 hours until I see Phantom. In a cape and mask.
V Is it possible to turn a novel into a film and not annoy people?
|
|
|
Post by unwinding_fantasy on Jan 8, 2008 17:13:56 GMT 9.5
^ No. Inevitably, they'll be someone out there who won't be happy with something. For instance, think about all those petty people who dislike the Lord of the Rings movies for reasons like, "They didn't include Tom Bombadil" and "Sam and Frodo acted gay".
> While trying to think of something witty to type here I thought, "Well, I'll just go onto the next part," and then spent about five minutes wondering why my keyboard doesn't have a down-carrot key. XD
V Got any personality quirks?
|
|
|
Post by killerbananas on Jan 9, 2008 0:13:53 GMT 9.5
^ I have a very obsessive nature. And if it counts as a personality quirk, I squeak when over excited and crack my toes at innappropriate moments (actually, thats a habit, but meh.)
> I'm seriously hyper and can't calm down after the night of my life XD
V Have you ever had a parent embarrass you at the competely wrong moment?
|
|
|
Post by phantasy on Jan 10, 2008 8:32:38 GMT 9.5
^ Ohh yeahh my parents embarrass me all the time but its usually my mum. Some of the worst would probably be at my birthday parties. but i wont go into that. but mum always says "its a parents duty to embarrass their kids!"
> Im soo happy! I might get to see Phantom again in Brisbane!! XD I dont no whether anyone else has been on ticketek but all the shows in Melourne are sold out! not even the crappy seats! ohh and my friend went to see Phantom last night but Ant wasnt on. Though they said Simon was good.
V Whats your dream job?
|
|
|
Post by killerbananas on Jan 10, 2008 13:06:23 GMT 9.5
^ Stage Manager with Opera Australia (no ulterior motives!)
> I like Simon- as a person, because he's really nice and prefers my sharpie! As a Phantom I'm not too overly fond of him!
V What's your most coveted possession?
