Great article! Interesting about his song not being in it this time but understandable and nice to see that he made that choice. And very exciting that he is looking to do a play!

I have a recording of the interview Anthony did before Zhivago started. It was on the Ovation channel. Does anyone want that? Or is that a silly question!!! Hi Mazza Know I'm seeing you tomorrow but I just found this and thought I'd ask here, just in case in all our excitement tomorrow I forget! Do you still have a copy of the interview with Anthony before DZ started? I'd love a copy if you do, and still don't mind sharing it. Thanks and see you for lunch and then a (sort of) date with a certain man Soooo looking forward to it...

The following was on Facebook today: Annie The Musical - Australia 2012 Fan Alert: To celebrate the 1st preview of Annie in Melbourne tonight the lovely Chloe Dallimore and Todd McKenney had a great chat with the ladies on The Circle yesterday. Don't worry if you missed it check it out here ten.com.au/the-circle-video.htm?movideo_p=40522&movideo_m=190727No sign of our fav musical performer (except in a clip) but it's a good interview just the same - Chloe was so lovely when I was speaking to her after the final Brissie show - very open and warm - and sooo tall

Jema, sorry I can't guarantee that I won't break him the next time I see him! It was very hard for me to stay in my seat and not charge the stage on Thursday night For those who have seen it, Anthony has said in certain interviews that there is a sizzling romance between Warbucks and Grace. I didn't see it or feel it! I just got an akward feeling between the two..............maybe because I was in the theatre he held back a bit!

MELBOURNE TIMES - FRIDAY, MAY 2012 BREAKING NEWS STORY ANTHONY, BEWARE TGORT!
Last night in a darkened theatre security guards had to handcuff a woman sometimes referred to as Poppy to her seat as thick white foam poured from her mouth. Those sitting in close proximity could hear the faint whisper, "A.n.t.h.o.n.y I'm over here, Grace doesn't really love you - it's just your money she wants. Pick me, pick me ..." Unfortunately those same patrons were too enthralled by the melodious voice of the famous musical theatre star to be bothered going to her rescue. "It's just one of those poor unfortunate, not to mention pathetic creatures who lurk the pages of the Unexpected Song website, ladies and gentlemen," another security guard was heard to announce during interval. "Please make your way out to the bar and just pretend you can't hear her. Eventually she'll have to stop."
Her whispers had dissipated by the time Act 2 commenced so the full house could finally enjoy the performance without being disturbed. But once the curtain had closed on the final act, patrons in the stalls were horrified to find a shallow pool of liquid under the same seat where this unidentified woman had been seen. There were only two other signs of her presence - a pair of handcuffs found dangling from the armrest and a tiny voice still whispering from beneath the floorboards, "Oh Anthony, now look what you've done. We could have been so happy together but now I'm just a forgotten memory melted away from the heartache you've caused. I could have been the mother of your children but instead I now seep into the cracks, only to become the Ghost of Regent Theatre. I will see you in Box 5 tomorrow night. B-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah!"
This reporter now fears that the same fate has befallen these hallowed halls as the famous Parisienne Opera House experienced with its own resident ghost. Fortunately there is no underground river beneath these floors so the cries of this poor woman will not echo throughout any deep dark cavernous craters ... nor cause the chandelier to fall - having no arms can sometimes be a blessing!
Till tomorrow night when we will bring you an update of "TGORT". I remain your intrepid ghostbuster...

Thanks everyone Couldn't resist after Poppy's comments (and yes, Poppy, while large dollops of saliva dribbled off your chin and those long deep gutteral noises rose out of your throat as you gazed upon his statuesque form, it was I who sat cringing in the seat behind, silently pleading, 'No, Poppy, no. It's dangerous to be that enamoured by the man - strange things will happen to you!' But did you listen? No, of course not. Your glazed eyes and trancelike state were unable to be penetrated. So I just had to leave you to your fate and now look where you are! Go gently into your strange new world, where Anthony's piercing eyes hypnotise as you disappear into the music of the night ... or more likely to a hardknock life!) So I just had to bring everyone up-to-date with the latest news! MELBOURNE TIMES - SATURDAY, MAY 2012 FURTHER BREAKING NEWS WARLOW HELD CAPTIVE BY TGORT! For those subscribers who read my account of the strange happenings that have recently occurred in our beloved Regent Theatre, you will be horrified to hear there has been a further dastardly development. Australia's beloved thespian with the golden voice has been taken captive by the same ghostly apparition who disappeared in strange circumstances on Thursday night. Weaving her magic spell, she has somehow managed to wrangle her presence around his form and spirit him down to a hidden lair beneath the floorboards of the theatre. The janitor, on his nightly rounds after the performance on Friday night, spotted the shimmering glow which is known to emanate from the porcelain-like pate of the acclaimed star as he disappeared through a gaping hole in the orchestra pit. This quiet, unassuming after-hours keeper of the theatre felt chills run up his spine as a blood-curdling cry pierced the darkness. "P-o-p-p-y, let me be. How many times do I have to tell you that I can only do impersonations when I'm in front of an audience - and no, not an audience of ONE! Unhand me woman - oh, they're not hands, loosen those thick tendrils of black hair that are slowly wrapping around my throat!" And then with a hint of disdain these final words rose out of the gloom, "And STOP slobbering all over me!! Don't you know that there are all forms of diseases in that slimy liquid and I have to protect my voice for the rest of my fans. Nooooo, not the lips..." So, fellow theatre-lovers it is with sad regret that I have to inform you that until further notice it will be the understudy who performs in the compelling role of Daddy Warbucks. Bring him back, Poppy, bring him back. He belongs to all of us... ... Sorry everyone, couldn't resist ... I'll try to restrain myself in future and now to bed!
