Thanks for the info scuffa; now all that's left is to pick a date, book the hotel, book the flight, book the show tickets ... I just had an odd thought of a smilie throwing a book, but that doesn't exist.

Hey, you never know Mar - it may be out there floating in cyber space somewhere.... and is it falling on you all on your ownsome to organise everything for the trip, coz by gosh it should NOT be that way - no no! *grumble grumble, stamp of foot* I had one of my days where i wanted to cry at the slightest mention of anything remotely negative; as such i was an utter wreck in my class at Uni coz we were talking of an assignment that i handed in incomplete and so i sat there internally falling apart from nerves and shame and being so DARN TIRED ALL THE TIME!!!!!! AUGH! Ahem, sorry folks. Calming down now.

Sadly, yes, I'm the one that has to do it all. The only thing mother has to do is to contact L.A. and ask her what day would suit HER in January ((before the 20th)). Until then I can't do anything and this waiting is making me anxious.

DON'T EVEN SAY?TYPE THE WORD RAIN!!!
Bridezilla's wedding is outdoors and it's costing me $600 freakin dollars to hire white wedding chairs... which will not be used if it rains and we end up having the ceremony in the reception venue!

Now Bridezilla's sister is having a meltdown... her shoes for the wedding (approx. 29 hours from now!) kill her and now we are off to look for another pair.

There, there mum - cuddles. Everyone and everything will calm down, and if it doesn't you can just curse them all and run off with the cake!

*grumble grumble, mutters something about having no ears...* Some MORON over at the IMDB boards for the J&H movie, said that Ant is 'overrated' and that his vocals on the concept recording are 'nothing special at all' - and i say HUH?! Now, i don't think Ant should or ever would play the role in the film adaptation - if it ever gets up and running - but you DO NOT insult such a performance, never ever!

Yes - that's right! You get them Mr Whippy - seek revenge and KILL KILL KILL!
Also, tonight i was out with some friends for dinner and my mate Dom's boyfriend started mocking Josh Groban when i said i was off to his concert soon - he called Josh's music "boring lame popera" (oooh, if Josh had heard that lat part there would have been bloodshed) and said that most of the audience would be bored housewives! I was very hurt and he kept saying he was joking, but i could feel the sincerity behind it - and i was angry at myself for being hurt coz he's clearly got no idea what he's talking about; he's just going off the common, ignorant opinion.

Reality bites. Just as Neh has left for PotO, I come down with a fever.
This comes free with a runny nose, sore throat and blood test (to exclude the possibility of dengue).
And then, I get better. Except for the sore throat.
A day later, the fever comes back, this time accompanied by headache, and neck ache. I go to the doctors for the requisite MC (medical certificate), and the doctor refers me to the A & E. He suspects I've meningitis.
A pile of injections, blood tests, waiting, and urine tests later, he can't find the source of the fever. And the neck/back ache is still there. So I get admitted to the hospital.
I get a disturbed night of rest, a 1:30 am X-ray, more blood tests, and more injections, weird food, and a $180something bill, I find out that I have a bacterial infection in my respiratory tract. The doctors kick me out.
And to add insult to injury, I get 9 days house arrest - or MC, depending on how you look at it - and an antibiotic I'm allergic to.
Ergo, I'm stuck in the house without a book to read or notebook to spill my evolving storylines in (yeah, I'm a writer). And my CD player has gone out of whack.
So no Clay Aiken, and no Phantom. And no Anthony Warlow.
Oh, and my skin has gone all red and puffy at the joints, I'm itching like crazy, and I have a peculiar taste in my mouth.

Take care aurryinne. I had a bad respritory tract infection earlier this year and it took two lots of antiboitics and eight weeks before I even started feeling sort of ok. Hope you have a faster recovery.
Also, just wondering jazzgirl (sorry can't call you Mum since we are about the same age) how the wedding went and if you have survived the Bridzilla moments. Hope everything went ok despite the pre-wedding melt downs.

Almost everything went well, the weather was perfect and they both had a wonderful day! The only problem was that the day before the wedding Jaclyn had her engagement ring cleaned and polished a diamond fell out and was lost... thankfully the shop had a diamond the correct size and the fixed it with out and trouble! Had major trouble with shoes to match the bridesmaid dress... got a pair only the am before the wedding.
Thanks for the good wishes and I've posted a few pics in the Happy Tread, if you would like to see us all!

Gorgeous pics.
I have officially gone out of my mind. The tickets arrived today. Guess where we are? STALL. Smack down in Row B, seats 27-29. I'm so angry I've gone straight to numb without even stopping at violent rage. ... EDIT: The numbness was good; meant I didn't overreact too much. After a moment or two of staring at the seat plan I decided it might not be too bad; it could be worse, we could've been placed behind one of the poles, or one of the end seats in Row K. Yeah, short little temper. Calm now.

Physics labs are so damn boring...3 hours of messing around with magnets and circuits and writing up pseudo-physics nonsense whilst attempting to make it sound credible...=_=* The end.

I'm going to be sick. Why? Because Mark Holden has just given two touchdowns to two performances that sounded like squat. The second one was Matt singing Music of the Night. "be" was nasel; he almost jazzed the song towards the end. It. Was. Crap. I will listen to the fact that he has never stepped into that field before; particularly as dad keeps saying it over and over again (("for someone who's never sung anything in that field before he did f king good")). *dishevelled look*. I just wish I hadn't heard it. If only mum hadn't dragged me out into the lounge room, my ears wouldn't be bleeding right now.
