Thanks for that bit of info........ My little girl is sick so I've been elbow deep in vomit all day today! So beware, there is another bug on loose. Great! Just what I need, sick kiddies and just when they are about to go back to school!

I've been sick for the past 4 days- mum has decided I'm old enough to deal with my own vomit. Great.
And its all related to a severe lack of calcium, iron and lots of stress, apparently.

Oh dear, tummy bugs are made of the devil! I hope everybody afflicted with them feels much better asap. In the meantime, i guess all i can say is dry toast and bucketloads of water?
Personal consensus for 2009: IT SUCKS (so far)
My very dear friend died, my nan got very ill and underwent major surgery and then we had to have our adopted cat put down. SUCKS. Sorry y'all. The briefer my moronic vents, the better!

Neh, hope things brighten up for you soon. I've caught the bug that the kids have and I've been all day, and I'm sure that I've fractured a rib from throwing up so much! Third week of work and it's my first official sickday.

'bugger' that'd suck. That makes me sound reasonabley healthy (ha ha "I am reasonable *cough* health and happy to be to all once more!). I've just got a cold and have a sort of hiccup fit, but I've got to perform at a vocal nosh soon and if I can't get my voice back properly It'll sound like a dying chicken

Icky icky stomach bug; i'm sorry Poppy. Are your kids still sick aswell? It sucks when the entire family is down and out. Here, we all have sore throats and head colds. I think it started with me, due to work and the amount of germs kids magically seem to carry into every place they visit, including cinemas.

Poppy, have you ever heard of Emetrol? It's good stuff - stops nausea. My Dad used to force my brothers and I to have ... I think it was called Fisher's phospherine, or something. It tasted hideous, but it worked. This is pretty much the same stuff, but it tastes ok. Kind of citrus-y.

Poppy, there was WAY too much vomiting in your post. Nasty. Bec that was nothing in comparison to the vomiting going on at home! Thanks Fredus I havent heard of it, do I need a script?

Nope, no script needed. Just remember to read the instructions - I was feeling pretty crook the first time I took it and didn't pay attention to the bit about not drinking within 15 minutes of taking it....

It's bloody windy outside, and the roof's making funny noises. I figure they would have attached it more securely after the last time it blew off, but I'm feeling somewhat paranoid about it right now.

Had a scary experience last night. I was lying in the bath reading at about 9.30pm, all was quiet then suddenly from the room next door to the bathroom came the sound of a music box playing Music of the Night. It went for a few seconds then seemed to run down. I was too scared to get out of the bath, but when I finally did, the music box was exactly where it always is, hadn't moved, and the music will only play when the lid is opened. So I spent most of the night lying in bed, wondering if I had a ghost, and if so, where would I go? Should I buy an apartment? Just too scary for me!!!

Thats pretty scary Injeanious. Was there anybody else in the house who could have done it? It could have been the opera ghost.

If it was Music of the Night it must've been the opera ghost that means you have an Angel of Music you just gotta find out who it is

That doesn't sound like a very smart idea, what's so great about parties anyway? The only parties I go to would be B'day parties (no drinking)
