I think you'd get a lot of overseas people signing that one, I have read in a lot of forums that people want him to do it. And wasn't there also talk of a movie or has that been done?

It's still being made; it was scheduled for release this year' but it's been bumped to next year', no one knows who will be involved in the cast, the rumour went around in the beginning that it might be Hugh Jackman, but the only true fact we know is that both Wildhorn and Bricusse will be involved with the project.
Yeah, there's lots of people who hate the Hoff and Cuccioli for butchering the role. But we just have to wait until after Anthony's next musical before considering getting him to do J&H

lol we cant strain/pressure the man, he probably wants to have a rest between things anyway, spend time with the wife and kid etc.

Yeah, and it sounds as if he won't do this kind of musical anytime soon if what he said in that interview in Brisbane is true. He'd need a break after Phantom. Oh well, its nice to dream!!

Wait til you listen to the OBC recording, Robert Cuccioli his HIDEOUS. I've only heard the YouTube clips of his Confrontation mixed with Ant's so I didn't think he was hideous exactly. Then again, that could be due to the fact that I was completely entranced by Mr Warlow's voice. where the moving of the arm shows the changing of character! *mutters* Yeah, that's godawful. The only thing worse than his Transformation is his This Is The Moment When You'll Want To Cut Off Your Ears. It's like 90% ham, the other 10% being a poisonous substance known only as Hasselhyde. Listening to him did do one thing for me though: I realised how shocking the lyrics are and how brilliant Ant is for making them work. Yeah, and it sounds as if he won't do this kind of musical anytime soon if what he said in that interview in Brisbane is true. He'd need a break after Phantom. Oh well, its nice to dream!! Yeah, that's the problem. I think he'd be okay with the physical acting -- he rolls around on his dressing room floor, after all! -- but J&H would be almost as emotionally draining as Phantom. Still, this will not stop my campaign! All right all right, how about this: Once we've all got our official recordings of Phantom, we do a petition for Ant to get back to Jekyll and Hyde. Deal? Should I start sticking posters up? XD |

The security guard didn't seem none too pleased with me bursting out into Unexpected Song either.
And every night there was some guy busking out the front with a flute or a piccolo ... and he wasn't that good.

Just picked up the J&H set today. Brilliant! Have had a lovely day becoming immersed. :-) I'm loving Hyde. Anthony needs to get all worked up more often! Also really enjoying Linda Eder. I haven't heard any of her work previously.
What is this about rolling around on the floor of the dressing room?? I think I've missed something amusing somewhere...??
