I bet you could, unwinding. I bet you really, really could ...
Oh gawd, if it were stack's on I'd crush him. I'm not a light person.

But, given how a few of us here are vertically challenged, we'd have a much better chance if he was already lying down! *slinks away muttering*

Oh gawd, if it were stack's on I'd crush him. I'm not a light person. I'd give him a good winding- hence while I'll be the one driving the unmarked white van XD (It would be quite amusing if Ant read this and hired security, eh? XD )

Ah, he knows we're joking. We'd be pretty lousy fans if we injured our idol. Speaking of which, note to self: don't buy chocolate with peanuts.
(I really am kidding, Ant. I can't afford a lawsuit! XD)

^ I was thinking that when I read he was allergic to peanuts- that cuts out so much food due to the whole "processed with nuts" thing...

At least he isn't lactose intolerant ...
Ant-easers aren't processed with nuts, are they ... ?

Um... I don't appear to have any Anteasers (which is weird...) however, both Mars Bars and Twix's say "May contain traces of nuts" so I'm assuming anything Mars/Cadbury/etc runs the risk of having peanuts in it...
I would not want to be responsible for making Ant go into anaphyalactic (sp?) shock....

Well ... at least we know Jaffas are safe ... assuming he didn't go into some allergic fit afterwards that got hushed.

Really? He's allergic to nuts? Does anyone recall which interview that was in? I can't imagine what it must be like, having to be so careful with everything that you eat......

I've read this article before. In the last audio interview, I think it's the 3AW one, he mentioned he saw the Bremen production. Well, I haven't seen any video clip of Bremen production, but from what I've seen and heard, the German productions generally have quite surreal staging. I saw a clip of the Cologne production on youtube, and the stage looked like a lab of an extraterrestrial creature. I think it's not the style that we expect from Anthony.
And I agree with him about the show being balladheavy. I think the broadway production sucks, and heard the pre-b'way tour is much better. Makes me think perhaps the show would have lived up to its potential if Anthony had assented to do the tour, and invested his talent into the show.

Unwinding - this is for you. I was going through some old newspaper articles and found this one, where Ant was talking about doing (well actually, not doing) J&H... Extract from The Age - 30/1/2001 Warlow went to Germany late last year to see a production of Jekyll and Hyde, whose original soundtrack he had recorded in 1994. He describes it as a bizarre production and very surreal.
He was mobbed by cast members who wanted to discuss his ideas of the show.
Warlow says any production of it in Australia would be like reviving The Rocky Horror Show.
Jekyll and Hyde was one of two shows he considered performing in on Broadway (the other was The Scarlet Pimpernel). But, at the time, he felt tied to Australia and had commitments to perform opera later that year. He also had doubts about the show's merits and these were confirmed after seeing it revived.
"The show is balladheavy and what works best is essentially Edwardian melodrama. I would rather see it performed as a play than a musical."
But the respect he was shown making the recording was gratifying after a year of chemotherapy to defeat lymphoma. The producers had seen it as a potential successor to The Phantom of the Opera.
Despite such pressures he found people came to him for ideas. "I never even got a director's credit," he jokes. But the respect he earned is enduring. But, but, the promotional material...! Oh well. No one said quests in vain couldn't be fun. Thanks for sharing, nikita.

I was so ready to go stage door stalking in a Hyde Treatment shirt, too! Oh well. No one said quests in vain couldn't be fun. Thanks for sharing, nikita. Many said the POTO petition was a quest in vain, and look what happened- we got Ant's support!

I'll continue living in my World of Delusions. My banner remains! XD
When we do LSS I reckon we can snag a fair amount of sigs. They'll be a group of us there so we'll look more representable. Sadly, I found out today uni's still on at that time so I'll only have the weekend to go sig-stalking with everyone.

"Anyway, this is an absolutely must-have CD; I still don't have one, can you believe it?! It's that hard to track down in stores; impossible, really. Why haven't I bought one off Amazon yet? Unplayed copies just waiting to be bought! Gah!" ========== Hello Marie-Cris. My friend/phriend Teena and I found J & H quite by accident when we was in a Music Shop in Melbourne in August of 2007. At that time, we was in Melbourne to see our phriend Erik, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. There were actually TWO Double CD Sets there of J & H, starring Mr. Warlow. Naturally, I purchased one; and then, for the rest of that day, Teena had wished that she'd bought the other one. Soooo..... the following day, we went back to the shop where we were the day before, and she purchased the one remaining Double CD Set. Gosh, his voice reeeeally does sound SOOOO ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLY AMAAAAZING when he, as Jekyll, transforms into Hyde. Ooooh. Take Care Marie-Cris. The Phantom's Phriend Forever, Jaime. PS:- Hey, Marie-Cris, check your emails. There should be four songs from me waiting for your listening pleasure right now.

Apparently I didn't mention it here. Strange. I mentioned it in every other thread except this one.
