I could never deny you the pleasure. I reckon they should find a way to import it interstate. Or the world. World domination.

I like juggling. It's a pity I'm so bad at it. I spend a lot of time picking the little balls up off the floor.

You know, in Mar's defense, i didnt find the SA water nearly as bad as was anticipated. And even if Adelaide doesnt have late-night Thursday shopping or $10 mobile text credit... it's lack of mountains is a super dooper positive for me, coz i loathe treking through a upward slopping city and wanting only to collapse halfway through my journey as the prospect of yet another climb awaits me.
But onto Pirates, i'm not sure yet if i shall attend, as memories of the first experience are still plenty to tide me over, although i have a nagging feeling Cinta may trick me into it, as she often does with OH events - but if i could get her to attend a performance when several of us go, that would be even better. She needs to have more US contact, that silly sausage! She was an original member, after all.

Late night shopping goes on Fridays I think. Or Saturday. Or maybe not. I just know that here, pay-day is Friday for most people so it's the end of the week rush in Foodland just to pick up milk to last for the weekend. I don't know what they do in Adelaide. I didn't even know the mall was open on Saturdays ((most things are closed on the weekends here)).
And I TOLD you to either boil it or get bottled water! No one should drink tap water, particularly when you see the state of the Murray.
Oh, and maybe we could try for another mini-convention for Pirates at a set date? Whether the final show or not, whatever's easiest. I've got a feeling there might not be as many of US attending on the same date if we do have one but that's life. I'm just thinking it would be nice to catch up with everyone again.

I did drink a few mouthfuls of the water. I believe it was filtered. But Marie-Cris just about fainted from horror when I mentioned that, so I didn't drink anymore.
And, Neh! you don't like mountains?? That's shocking! A horizon isn't a real horizen without the mountains in the distance. Admittedly, they aren't the most entertaining things to walk up, but it's good for you! Or something.....
And I think it would be good to all gather for Pirates. Always be nice to see you all again.

Arrrrgh, methinks a union of US citizens could be most satisfying for a Pirates trip, arrrrgh *hey, let me have this - i didnt actively do Talk Like a Pirate Day this year*
Mar, i did boil my water for the most part while there but occassionally i just took direct swigs from tap and didnt find anything too shocking, truly.
Fred..... yes, a mountain range equals a more impressive landscape and sunset/sunrise view, but anything that additionally results in me huffing and puffing, and getting sore muscles is just a no go!

Gee I have been out of it, didn't even realise tickets were for sale.
I went to Opera Australia's website and it kept giving me shitty seats so I tried the Sydney Opera House website which is great as it shows you every seat in every section and you just select the empty seat you want.
I am sitting in the front on the last performance of Pirates. I hope to see others there so we can catch up and say hello.

I looked at the site too - great that you can pick your own seats - just like the site that The Civic in Auckland used to use. Pity they didn't keep it as it was so good to be able to pick the seat that you wanted, not what the ticket office said you wanted!!

*whimpers*
Why?? Why now??
Why can't they do the Phantom thing and sell their tickets at the last second? Or March. March would be a wonderful month for selling tickets!
*sigh*

BTW, the Pirates subforum is set up now, so if anyone's attending the last show it'd be nice to see who so we can catch up.

Saw Pirates Friday night, absaloutly amazing I was in the front row with mum and dad. We went to the stage door where we were met by someone from OA and she took us to the green room, there Mr. Warlow came out to greet us (just us) we had a long chat about the show and my shows and how I sent him drawings that he never recieved which he was really upset about, I gave him a drawing of him singing then and so he drew me a pic of the Pirate King . We took some photos he signed some of the things I brought and he walked with us out, he and I had a heart to heart talk about idols and when he met his. As we departed he gave me a kiss on the cheek and we began to walk off I ran up to him and made him pinky promise to sing with me at the Opera House one day......... he promised I must say we could never have chosen a better person to idolise, he's very lovely, easy going, polite, hilariously talented, whilst he was signing he was talking with his oldman voice
