You don't like Dickens? I think A Tale of Two Cities is one of my all-time favourite books...

I just keep getting reminded of Moby Dick because of the name.
"Thar she blows ..."

I... think that one went over my head....
Edit: Don't mind me. I just worked out what you're talking about. Brain not working - bedtime now.

@ Fredus: I read Great Expectations and hated it. I'm trying to read through 2007's World Book Day list and it seems every second book was written by him. We'll see how it goes.

I don't think I made it through Great Expectations.
So, maybe some of his books aren't particularly entertaining.

Looks like I'm building up a Phantom book collection ^)_^
All I need now is the original and ... Unmasked ...

I haven't any. Very sad. I used to have the original, but I haven't read it for years, and now it seems to have disappeared. Maybe Mum has it - she steals my books, and I steal hers, so no one ever knows where anything is.

I completely forgot about Unmasqued... but Lord knows I have enough books to read without adding trashy erotica to the mix.

I'm surprised it didn't make the List. It has both spelling and punctuation!

Whatever you bring, it won't have anything on Emptiness.

John sang the Vegemite jingle?! Wow, there you go. Poppy, I've also been very fond of the mango fruit comment. I still want to know, out of all the things the author could have written, they chose 'Sucking on a mango fruit'
