Thanks May, and yes it did cause serious Phantom withdrawals. Gee I would love to see all the footage from Adelaide.

In the rehearsal clip - is it just me or does the music sound different? In a couple of places where the orchestra are rehearsing I couldn't work out what tune they were playing.
Brad Little - no, doesn't do it for me I am afraid!!

MAy you are amazing finding this... you were right to warn us about phantom withdrawls, seeing Alex and Ana really brought back fond memories. Brad Little does not a bad job of MOTN. It would be worth the trip to Taipei to see his interpretation (as well as freaking out Alex )... BUT, I'm sorry, did anyone else hear Anthony singing in there minds as Brad was singing? Probably just me and my wishful thinking.

Isn't it typical, the things I miss when the rellies decide to invade ...
Absolutely wonderful find, thank you May! It might take a while to get through all of these but already I'm feeling withdrawal.

I miss everyone soooo much! But thanks for the links May! The only cure for POTO withdrawals is - more POTO! Must re-live through youtube, music, etc etc.... 8 days? Wow that is super short. At least the cast won't have to endure many more earthquakes (I hope!).

He's very cute in the footage Jeni!
Something that I was surprised at - and maybe members who have acted in plays can tell me why - is that John and Derek appeared to be reading from scripts during the rehearsals. I would have thought that after playing the roles for so many years they would know the words off by heart.

It could be just to be certain that they retain the memory, like a security blanket, or something to reinforce it more. There are some things that don't always remain locked in your memory despite doing it over and over again across a period of years so maybe they're ... reacquainting themselves with it?
Or maybe they're experimenting with inflections?

Ah yes, that. Did I forget to post that in here? I thought I put it somewhere ... maybe in the archive, I can't remember. I had to write to the show to ask them if they would put up the footage after I'd seen it and it got there eventually.
... I never did write up my reviews, did I? There were so many shows and things went by so quickly that I can only remember snatches. The night Warlow went wigless when up in the rafters, the crack in his voice at the final show ...
And I'm pretty sure the chocolates David Rogers-Smith were talking about were Sonja's, not the ones in the hamper, and yet I got pushed forward.
Meeting Ana three times was cool though, and I'm glad she was able to bring out the program for me. I've got to find out the name of that animal charity she suggested before auctioning off that program ((that and I have to work out how to get the winning bidder to pay for it, considering I don't have Pay Pal ...)). Does anyone have a clue on which charity that might be? I'm a bit too shy to ask her on FB.
